In addition to four classic Monk compositions, ""Ruby, My Dear,"" ""Reflections,"" ""Crepuscule With Nellie"" and ""'Round Midnight,"" the album includes four new compositions by Smith inspired by Monk and his personal history - whether real, imagined or dreamed.
