Great product & easy to use. Works well.

I’ve had dentures for years and I think I’ve tried just about every type of adhesive there is! But I had never tried the powder before. I found a great price here on Amazon, so I figured why not? I’ll give it a try. It works great! I would definitely buy this again. The hold is great and it does what it’s supposed to do!

It holds, but if I eat or drink I will have to add more glue afterwards

I've had dentures for 4 years. I've tried all types of adhesives. And, I have severely arthritic hands. I tried SeaBond, but they are too much trouble for my hands. Mostly I've used adhesive glues like Fixodent or Polident. But they are difficult for my bad hands to squeeze. And, no matter how well I place it, some always leaks out when I put them on - or clumps up when I take them out. (And I HATE drool) This product is almost perfect. Easy to apply. No mess when I take them out. No excess leaking. And, it's even cheaper than the glues. To be honest, the glues hold slightly better - but these do hold all day. And the ease of use more than makes up for that.

I have poorly fitting dentures, and have always required a bunch of denture goo from a tube to hold them in. The problem with that is I cannot stand that goop in my mouth after I've removed my dentures, and would spend up to an hour desperately trying to get it out of my mouth. I'd given up! But after getting frustrated and altering them with a Dremmel tool, as well as getting a soft relining kit, I got these dang dentures fitting much better, so I just needed an alternative to the goo, and found it with this very inexpensive powder! In fact, this holds my upper dentures in all day long, and the first time I removed them, I pulled a piece of skin off the roof of my mouth that was held just by this powder! So now I just use my tongue to get a bit of saliva between the dentures & my mouth, and then they come out easily. I had to switch to liners for my lower dentures because they cushion & hold, but nothing keeps my lowers tight for long, so I started using this powder on my lowers too, on top of the liners. It keeps them tighter, longer, but never all day. So I've found a reasonably priced way to keep my uppers in, and a bit more help for my lowers too. Very pleased!

this works,I haven't try it alone i used it with fixodent paste,holds all day till I remove them,dries quickly, doesn't move just install properly and don't put together much

I've only tried this product 2 times. Adding it with the adhesive cream, it is adding extra hold. I'm not sure of the functionality yet. In the pic it shows how it came in the box. Part of the front of the label has been ripped off. If the box had not been properly closed, I would not have used it.

I am thrilled with Fixodent Extra Hold Denture Adhesive Powder, which I now use daily in a sheer film over a slim application of Fixodent Plus Adhesive Cream!! Due to chronic illness, stomach acid had completely destroyed the enamel from most of my teeth, and they began to crack and crumble. I have Delta Dental Premier insurance, and after multiple extractions and corrections, fillings, caps, etc., I was fitted for complete upper, and partial lower, dentures. These dentures are top of the line, supposed to be fully intact for 7 years, so I was very happy to go ahead with the plan laid out by my orthodontist. I have a shallow upper palate, and tori below, which has caused much difficulty in structuring and securely fitting the dentures, so that adhesive is sorely needed. After trying several types, I settled on Fixodent Plus Adhesive Cream, but although it held the upper denture in place longer than any others, the firm hold slipped by suppertime. I then began using Fixodent Denture Adhesive Powder, in a sheer film over the cream. I am now able to achieve superb holding power all day long, from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. I can eat again!!

Best thing to keep your dentures in place found it in the States would use nothing else it does the job better than any other product so I would recommend it to you.with out this product I would find it difficult to keep my dentures in for the day.
