how tall are these palm trees at present ? manythanks carol

Hi Carol when we got our palms we put them into large pots. They are now about three foot high and about two foot wide. Look lovely on our patio. My Husband in put them in the green house for the winter but I am not sure whether this was necessary. Well worth buying.

if wrapped a fleece around pot will they survive winter as i've no where to move them to?

Yes hopefully that will be OK that is what I have been advised to do. I. Have bought a plant warming jacket from Aldi made from polypropylene and will tie it around my palm trees which are on my patio. It will be my 1st Winter with them.

can they be planted in the garden.do they need special feeding

Regarding Hardy Canary Island Palms, we have them in the garden and have not fed them not fast growing and that isn't a problem and I would say I live in a cool place of the UK and they have survived warmer the area you live naturally they grow freely in the Med.

Hi are these the ones on the first photo with the softer looking fronds or the spiky ones on the second picture please?

Not quite as hardy as said, I lost 1 just withered and died the other one is still alive (I think) thought they would last being hardy
