Can this be used on glass bottles without the ink rubbing off?

Have just tried using my wonderful Colop R30 rubber stamp on glass ( mine has black ink ) but it does not work. Even though the ink looks to have dried, it just rubs off with a tissue. However I can highly recommend it for use on paper or card. Regards John Watts
