It did take some time to put together. Definitely read the instructions carefully. It is very sturdy, but you need to make sure you move the top up slowly and make sure it is aligned when putting down. We ordered the 40" as it is for a condo. We are extremely happy with the purchase. Kind of shocked it was as cheap as it was for the sturdiness. As an added bonus, the customer service is exceptional. We had some issues with the delivery (it actually arrived earlier than said, and we were not in town) They were very responsive and were willing to work with us if something happened to the box.

This table is just what I needed for the space and use in a camper. Opening of slide and lift is a bit shakey. I am gentle and careful when using and it works great. but I don’t open a lot but if you did and children using roughly it wouldn’t last long. But it is very sturdy. Nice look, good storage. The company sent the wrong item but communicated daily with me and made it right. This is the second Yaheetech lift table I’ve bought. The value for the price is very good and what I would expect.

This looks really nice, and works well for smaller areas. I love the storage it’s given, and that my granddaughter can’t easily open them. But the hinges are stiff and require 2 hands to open and close. The assembly was a nightmare! The book doesn’t show that the hinges for the side opening part are supposed to be separated and I only learned of it after finding an assembly video on YouTube. Had it not been for that video I would probably still be trying to figure that out the nextMorning.

The directions were not very good. The video on the post helped. Great table once it is together.

Looks great. Works great. Reviews do complain about the complexity of assembly, but it's honestly not hard. You just need to pay attention to every little detail, (what direction the pieces go, definitely had to take it semi apart a couple times to rearrange the pieces), and definitely would recommend a drill over screwdriver to save your forearms.

They won’t let me return this item because it’s been to long since I’ve had it. I ordered this table in April. I didn’t actually get a round to opening it and putting it together until recently! The table is defective! They will not refund me im furious with this product and the sellers. The table isn’t sturdy and broke on one side and fell right on my 4 year olds foot. No he wasn’t playing next to it he was sitting and eating and the table just collapsed on one side. DO NOT BUY !!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Assembly directions are vague. Myself and my dad, who sells bearings and supplies and is very good at assembly, spent almost 3 hrs trying to put this table together and it’s still not right. Finally ended when I said, “It’s good enough for now.” So, in my opinion, definitely you get what you pay for.

Perfect size and love the storage it provides! The lifted table top is a perfect height for my sofa to be able to do some casual work on. Gas lift rods make the table top feel sturdy. It took awhile and was pretty tricky to put together. Table tops initially did not align well but with some fiddling and adjustment it fit perfectly.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this coffee table but glad I did. The quality is very great for the price. It's very sturdy, the instructions were clear and it came with extra screws. What you get is better than what you see in the pictures

Lovely coffee table. I'd recommend having 2 people to put it together when it comes to the lifting section. I did it all on my own and felt a bit like a contortionist, the lift up section and installing tightening up the fittings on the sliding section were quite tricky, but overall OK. Easy to follow instructions.

Order arrived in excellent time.The assembly of the table is fairly tricky, it comes with an instruction manual. But there are a lot of pieces and some of the hinges for example arent as straightforward to put together. Having said that I put it together on my own in about 4 hours.However I did unassemble some bits a couple of times becasue i wasnt happy with how the slider and hinge top came together. I wanted them to be flush as the picture shows, and this takes extra effort.The sliding part of the table could have been designed better, and time will tell how long it will last but im pleased with the result based on other products available and their prices.Table itself is very sturdy and stores a good amount of stuff.
