Great replacement saving me hundreds of dollars.
I have a 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser. The keyu broke off the plastic. KEEP THE TINY INSERT BLACK PART, that is where the micro chip is and just add it to this empty key fob. Go to a local mom and pop lock smith to get it got for $5. Total cost to me was less than $14 and the dealership wanted $300+ for a new one...

I like the fact that it was very easy to assemble. Good material quality...exact match fit/replacement to my original key unit.

Easy to do.
I didn’t have to program my new FOB. I just took the guts out of the old broken down FOB case and just replaced with the new FOB case. All you have to do is duplicate the key part at any hardware store or lock-smith.

Not the right size
Have tried several of these keys and none have worked well. Tried with a 2000 and 20003 LC. Last key shop thinks that the blanks are just a little too thin. The housing fits the buttons but have had zero success getting the keys cut and working

These do not close properly and I can see them breaking easy. Had to use tape to seal together.

Blade is shorter than the OEM key. If locksmith adjust the machine distance from the shell, it will not work as it happened to me. Purchased another set and will warn locksmith about this before cutting it.
