7-Port USB-C Hub, 48W Powered, 5Gbps, 3 USB-A + 4 USB-C (HB-3A4C)

I’ve had one other Sabrent product from years ago (a USB sound card) and it worked, that’s really all I could say about it. Everything about it felt very cheap (it was) and it left me feeling satisfied, but not impressed.This product really turned me around on the brand as a whole, this feels like a very high quality piece of kit.All of the materials feel great to the touch, the ports are sturdy, the power switches have a great tactile feel without being loud and clicky, everything was plug-and-play. Tested on an Apple Silicon MacBook, provided proper speeds as advertised for an external drive. The charging port is a nice touch, super easy to charge my phone when I’m at my desk.I can’t believe this is as cheap as it is (snagged for about $45) for the build quality and features - and time for my favorite QOL feature: the LEDs. Most other hubs also offer LEDs, but basically ALL other hubs that have LED indicators are an EYE PIERCINGLY BRIGHT blue. My machine is in the same room I sleep and need to run tasks overnight with my drive attached. Other hubs in the past have literally kept me up at night to the point I bought a sleep mask. These LEDs are essentially the perfect brightness and diffusion. They’re so subtle but still work in the daylight. 10/10.Photo taken in essentially complete darkness. They are DIM and it is AWESOME.

The connectors are very tight fitting which to me is a plus. I haven't seen the first "Disk Not Ejected Properly." A well constructed piece of equipment. I would buy it again if the need arose.

3 of the 4 usb c ports have stopped working after 4 months. Not a reliable product. Price point is way to high for the level of quality you get. (meaning there is no quality in this product). Save your money and invest in a more reliable product if you can find one.

The powered USB hub was exactly what I needed for an old external 1TB hard drive. I have a USB hub that is not powered and the external drive wouldn't appear on the list of connected drives to my desktop PC. I like the individual on/off switch for each of the 7 ports. It also works well with an external DVD drive.

Sabrent 7 port usb-c hub:Overall a great hub, with a nice mix of A, C, and power ports.Pros:- Its nice to have it plug into the computer's USB-C port.- It's powered, and the one 20 watt USB-C power port works even for a power hungry Pi 5, which is really convenient- the cables plug in on the side, which makes the hub sit more firmly on the surface, and makes cable runs neater.- the power switches are mechanical, with visible in and out positions.Con:The only con is that, unlike the advertised images, the power indicating leds are deeply recessed, and impossible to see unless you look straight down on the unit from above (see the photos comparing the led lighting to my old 4 port hub, which can be seen clearly at all angles). I can see this being a deal-breaker in some cases. I don't mind too much, as I can still see the mechanical switch position, but I'm deducting a star for the bogus images that claim you can see the leds at an angle. You can't.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have only been using it for a week but it has performed perfectly.

This is a very handy accessory, especially during this industry transition from USB – AA to USB – C. It provide provides a lot of flexibility for handling those different ports. in my case, it is adding a lot of port flexibility to a new Apple Mac mini.

Spot on. I needed switch usb c ports as some of my devices do not turn off unless unplugged. This offered the perfect solution. Metal built. Switches are great quality.

Love it. Manual switches. Plug and play and control what gets power. The only gripe I have is the relatively short cable to connect the hub to my pc, which is the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of five.
