REVIX Wisdom Teeth Ice Pack Head Wrap for Face, Jaw & Chin Relief, Black

Great for my wisdom teeth extraction surgery. The ice packs that come with it are slim and lightweight which is good for comfort but means they warm up fast. If you need to use two packs each time (both sides) then I'd reccomend buying some more icepacks to slide in when the ones that come with it are freezing. There was enough play and fit adjustment with the wrap to accommodate swelling and a range of head sizes.

Easy to put on, the ice packs freeze quickly and are effective in numbing pain, had for a wisdom tooth extraction and would have been lost without this! Worth every penny

Looks a bit silly but works very well

The wrap itself is fine however the ice packs feel like they're not designed for the wrap and the shape does feel strange on the face (I have other round ice packs that I use instead) I wrap itself is adjustable and fits well to the face, the ice packs stay cold for long enough that you can rotate them from freezer to face. The quality of the products feel well made, no splitting ice packs or rips in the wrap. Not bad value for money and certainly helped me heal from a root canal

I ordered 4 different wisdom teeth ice packs and this one was the best, covering a good area and easily adjustable. I used it for the first two days after the surgery constantly 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off and had no bruising at all. You will need at least 2 sets of this, as the ice packs need around 2 hours to freeze. For the days after I was able to use it to heat and heated it up in hot water, I didn't have any issues.

Perfect for the job intended. Having 4 ice/heat packs is great for rotation.

I just had wisdom teeth extraction and these were absolutely perfect. I did find myself buying another head band from a different company for back up. But I wish I had purchased 2 of these or REVIX gave you an option for extra ice packs. I would say these ice packs retain the cold longer than the other company I bought. Definitely good value for money and feels very durable. It fits well and has an adjustable strap. I love the fact it has earholes and ice pace have a nice soft feel to the part that comes into contact with skin.

Following wisdom tooth issues I purchased this a day after trying a similar product. Why? This looked to be wider and offer more cooling area to facial aspect of jaw, plus other option gave me cold ears. Pros - the ice packs are shaped, narrower towards ear and wider end, they also Velcro in place vs being in a pouch so you have a lot of control over where to put the ice. Gaps for ears also useful. Cons - as they Velcro on, there is no covering to the ice pack, so you need to be careful about protecting your face. This can be quite frustrating as you want it to be cold, but not to the point it will burn or damage your skin. I ended up using tissues. Because of this it’s hard to comment on how cool it stays The instructions (online and with the product) say to ALWAYS use the bag it comes in when freezing, the bag isn’t suitable for this and after three uses (of around and hour each time) it had ripped open. Contacted supplier who advised they only recommend this to keep clean and any bag can be used. They offered a $5 refund. Frustrating as had I known the bag would crack when frozen I would used an alternative and kept what looked to be a durable bag for storage. Overall it’s okay. I don’t find it retains the cold as much as my other one, and it requires a bit more effort to get the balance of freezing right. Update- Been using it hot to relieve TMJ pain, worked really well, but unfortunately on second day of use it has split oozing hot liquid which very nearly burned my face

De koelelementen zijn aan de zuidkant bedekt met een zacht laagje, waardoor je ze rechtstreeks op de huid kunt verdragen. De band maakt het makkelijk, want je hebt uiteraard je handen vrij. Helaas was de band voor mij wel wat te groot. Waardoor het lastiger was om de elementen op de juiste plek te houden. Maar het is zeker een aanrader als je vaak en langere tijd moet koelen.

Just had my wisdom teeth out as a ‘mature’ patient. Not fun. This thing saved me from going completely out of my mind. Nice feature is the Velcro ‘sticky’ side, isn’t actual Velcro - so it didn’t get stuck in my hair. The only improvement I would suggest is having the option to buy more of the ice packs separately. I bought extra round ones to go inside while the others were chilling in the freezer, because I couldn’t get the custom sized ones that fit right. The little round ones lasted about 10 minutes - the big ones that come with it last about 20 minutes. They take hours in the freezer to get cold again. So, if you’re having some kind of dental procedure, make sure you have at least 10 pairs of packs, so that when you go back for more, the first ones are frozen again.
