Difficult to determine capacitance values
Each strip has a number handwritten with a black felt pen or a machine stamped number, supposedly the capacitance of the SMDs in that strip. And, I "assumed" that those numbers would correlate to the contents list attached to the plastic bag they are in. Not necessarily so. I have one strip here marked "687". There is no 687 listed in the contents. There is a 683 and a 68, so now I have to get out my multi-meter and try to measure these little ant-sized components. Also, for the smaller capacity SMDs, instead of marking a "10" or "18", it appears that they are marked "100", or "180". Yeah, in resistor-coding lingo that last zero would mean a multiplier. But then what about the supplied SMDs marked "333" or "511"? For those, there IS a corresponding entry on the contents list. Very confusing and this is going to take me a lot of time finding what I need. I would not recommend buying this unless you have a lot of time on your hands. I needed some 30pf SMD units. I found a strip with a hand-written 1300. So, I have a feeling it is supposed to have been written "300" but someone's hand a a bit shaky when they wrote it. Frustrating.......
