Right Out of Product Box D Battery Tested 1.61V, Holding The Level, Sometimes Going Up .01 Not Down.
I've had procell before since 2007 been using this brand, had some Ds before, bulk Cs and AAA tied to Duracell name, all of them which I've gotten from Amazon, all of which I paid for prior to being part of this Vine review stuff, and when I bought them I'd done so after determining them to be best bang for what could get and reliable. I can't recollect having one that was a dud. So my prior experience going back 17 years made this a no-debate for me to test this new batch with expiration date March 2034.72 D batteries weigh a lot over 22 pounds; my elderly mother couldn't move them. This set of 72 come in 6 ProCell boxes of 12 each, making them more easier to handle, yet 12 of these still weigh and I'm keeping an eye on the shelves in my mom's cabinet I put 3 of the boxes on, to be sure the metal pegs can take the weight, not putting more than 2 boxes per shelf - so that's to consider. And that, to me, is the only con of getting a bulk package of ProCell D batteries, is D batteries weigh. Also, having gotten these before, I know they come in simple Procell product boxes that do not have shrink wrap, but a seal stamp each the size of a quarter coin, making them not waterproof, and to be kept in mind storing these for years. I transfer my batteries to plastic battery storage compartments, but my mom keeps the ones I gave her in a cabinet with glass doors either out of the box or in.If stored in a garage that is open to the elements, I would put in a box against humidity as my battery boxes.Right out of the box my battery tester showed these at 1.61 to 1.62 volts, so at the power rated, and that is with a loose placement of the battery into my tester, held by a twist tie. I found it interesting that it would float from 1.61 to 1.62 and holding those measurements despite I had loose placement of the battery and it is on the edge of size my tester can fit. So I find that pretty good.5 years from now will see how they hold power, but these are new, about 5 months, since manufacture stamp has expiration 10 years from now, and these are 10 year shelf life rated batteries. I got the intense that is supposed to be for high drain devices, and I got some toys that fit the profile for batteries like this.Normally, though, I reserve these for storm purposes as have few storm devices that run on D batteries, so I find bulk package as these good investment. I still have some batteries left over from a different size/brand I got 6 years back, also for storm purposes, and those are the kind of surplus I am always comfortable having as it means not having the storms they were bought in advance as reserve, and that's always good, as I've found if a storm does hit, forget trying to get replacement batteries in the thick of things, can even have to travel to another city to do so, so I like stocking up, and I'm pleased with these Intense D batteries, again, hope don't have to use them for the hurricane fans and lights I got, but got peace of mind now although I still will be periodically testing how they are holding up and checking for any defects or bad ones which I can only access as time passes.

Light and bright
I am very satisfied with these batteries. I have many battery-operated items (candles, cardinal figurines, and sensor-operated window candlesticks [8]).

Work just as well as the top name brand batteries
This is a massive, unbelievably heavy, box of batteries! I had no idea a box this small could weigh so much!Every battery we have used so far in camping lanterns and fans have lasted as long as the top brands that are much more expensive. I'm excited to have a huge box that will last us through next camping season and maybe part of the following summer as well.

Heavy Working Batteries
Wow I feel like I am set for a life time of C batteries. When these arrived my husband asked, "what did you buy these are so heavy?" Come to open the package and find out that it is these C batters. Haha a pack of 72 C Batteries. Yeah its heavy. I seriously think we have a long life time supply of these. As we don't use C batteries all that often. These C batteries work. I can't say for certain how well they work as to how long they last. I think each device takes out a different amount of "energy" you could say. But thus far they seem to be working well.I think that if you use lots of C batteries very often this will definitely give you a bang for your buck. If not, you might not need haha like us a nearly life time supply of C batteries.

Still working great
I believe this is like a sub company brand of Duracell. C batteries are pretty pricey in general but there isn’t anything worse than buying bad quality C batteries. So far they are holding up just fine in my son’s toys. Battery life seems pretty good so far. This is a bulk pack so it should last me for a long time and luckily they have good shelf life.
