Freaking fast, stable, and room to grow. I went with the E series over the standard just to save a little heat, and to give my PSU a little room for future GPU swaps. So far, I've tested it with the AMD Overdrive Autotune function, and it was completely stable up to 3.8 ghz base, and continued to function well till 4.5 ghz. I only tested the Autotune, I've ran stock since, and it's done everything I've thrown at it without hesitation (base being 3.3 ghz). Fairly cool too, even with a stock heat-sink. During the autotune, it got up to 140 F, but I haven't gotten anywhere near that since. Solid, cheap, and fast processing.

Awesome performance boost right out of the box for any AM3/AM3+ motherboards that do not support FX 9300 or higher. Great upgrade for AMD Athlon 2-64, Phenom II or FX series processors below the FX-6350. Although it is an 8 core processor, the FX-6350 is slightly better on single thread processing only. Price and value make this processor a no brainer for upgrade purchase. This processor will run most new games without a problem. Overclocking up to 4.0 Ghz does not cause the heat in the processor to rise dramatically, and will run at 4.0 without any issues.

Not a bad CPU, but unless you need the 8 threads for productivity a Pentium G4560 would be a better purchase for $65. It will match or beat the FX-8320E in most games and uses much less power in the process. Plus you would have a viable upgrade path in the future. With the FX that's not an option. The only reason I can see to spend any money at all on an FX-83XX series processor is if you have a quad such as an FX-4100, FX-4130 or FX-4300 and needed to do an upgrade on a tight budget. Even then the FX-8300 is a better buy @ $89.99 here on Amazon. Its the same chip with almost the same clock speed and TDP. If you're building a totally new system, don't go with an FX series processor and an AM3+ motherboard. Its time is over. If you're wanting to stick with AMD and spend as little as possible the Ryzen R5 1400 would be a much better choice to build from scratch with.

I have used both AMD and Intel processors, I don't really prefer one over the other. I just buy whichever one fits my needs and is within my budget. After reading some reviews I decided to buy this on cyber Monday, with the price I just couldn't pass it up. I mostly game and watch Netflix or YouTube, its been a little over two months since I installed this and I must say I have been very satisfied with this processor. Combined with my 7790 this has played all the games a have thrown at it on high settings, some on ultra, I don't really check my fps unless my game starts stuttering so I can't say anything about that.However I should note most games I play have been out for a while like Skyrim, WoW, LOL, Wolfenstein, Diablo III, Mass Effect (1,2,3) and some others.Therefore I can't speculate on newer games, but eh this processor works great for my needs.

As processers go, Its decent for the price. 8 cores, 95 watts, 3.2ghz. it runs smoothly, and is much much faster then my old A4 6300. I got this one insted of the 8320 because my motherboard only supported 95 watt processors (bad choice on my part) and the 8320 is 125 watts. however, I right away overclocked it to 3.6ghz with out an issue, no crashing. My only complaint is that you can NOT get to 4ghz on this with the stock cooler. I can't overclock past 3.7ghz. and honestly, anything above 3.6 gets hot and the fans get so loud they are annoying. I do plan on buying a water cooling kit for it to reduce noise and hopefully allow a little better overclocking. so all in all: Pros: Decent overclocking good speed 8 cores (and really all the other stuff listed allready) best price/performance (that i could find, I bought it when it was only $125) Cons: loud fan under load and when overclocked still is outmatched by most (slightly) higher end i5 processers when it comes to gameing. can't reach 4ghz with stock cooler

I had been considering upgrading from my 4 year old phenomii x6 1055t to a new Ryzen build, but I saw this for 94 bucks with a 40 dollar rebate so I pulled the trigger on this instead and saved myself at least 500 bucks from not having to buy a new mobo and ram as well as cpu. I'm very impressed with this cpu! Combined with my gtx 1060 6gb I can now play all my games on the highest settings no problem. Witcher 3 at 60 fps on high settings with hairworks off! I have this water cooled with a Corsair H60 and I haven't seen it go over 28 degrees yet, even under heavy gaming. Maybe in a year or 2 I'll upgrade to Ryzen build, but for now this cpu breathed new life into my aging system (Along with the GTX 1060 6 gb I just got a few weeks ago that replaced a GTX 660ti). Idle temp is reading 7-11 degrees celsius. I doubt that's all that accurate since it's 20 degrees celsius in this room right now, but safe to say she's running cool, and it's using a lot less electricity too.

I had decided to try the "new" AMD architecture with a quad core FX-4200 series CPU on my last machine with fair results. But now, with 4k editing, the machine was really showing its age. I don't want to spend the money on a new i7 build, plus the new machines really don't want to run W7; they're geared to W10 - I dual boot 7/10, and don't want to give up WMC, which is absent in 10. This new CPU was a relatively inexpensive upgrade the the FX-4000 series, and gives the machine enough umph to make editing reasonable, if not super smooth. The CPU itself comes with the stock AMD cooler, which, while probably inadequate for gaming, seems to do the job for normal graphic tasks. Installation was painless - took longer to move the power supply wires out of the way than swap the CPU, and the OS didn't mind the change one bit.

Me, I'm still a fan of AMD although my son has switched to Intel as they provide the best gaming solutions at the moment. I've just upgraded from a Phenom X4 9650 to this. My son has just upgraded from a Bulldozer FX-6300 to Intel. I always wanted what he had, but decided on this 8-core after looking around. (I know strictly speaking it's 8 logical processors, but that's just too much of a mouthful.) I believe that it can be overclocked but I'm not going to do that, at least not yet. With the stock cooler, which let's face it doesn't look awesome, this lovely CPU runs really cool, even under stress, and certainly when compared to my previous Phenom. Matched with an Asus R9 380 4GB and an Asus M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 and 16GB PC3-12800. Tomb Raider Legend runs beautifully at full HD with all bells and whistles enabled, one core doing 90-95 percent and another 50 percent, stock speed 3.2 GHz, showing about 3.6 GHz Turbo (up to 4 GHz available). My son says he couldn't get the torchlight effects on the FX-6300. With 4 case fans the cores are 22 degrees C at idle and non-core CPU 37 degrees. Under stress cores 42 degrees and CPU 52. Without overclocking, using the stock cooler! I'm very pleased, to put it mildly. This just has to be great value for gaming. I'm definitely going to OC a bit and may change the cooler to a Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim depending on what I find.

新旧構成は以下のとおり 新構成 CPU：AMD FX-8320E（＠定格3.2GHz TC時4GHz） M/B：GIGABYTE GA-970-Gaming(Rev1.0) 旧構成 CPU：Intel Core i7 860（＠定格2.8GHz TB時3.46GHz） M/B：GA-P55A-UD3R その他は全て共通で、メモリはTeam DDR3 1600MHz品、OSはWin10 Pro 64bit、CドライブはSanDisk製SSD、グラボはGTX980です。 すべて定格駆動です。 流石にベンチマークはi7 860より上です。 CinebenchR15でシングルコアは負けますがトータルでは20%強向上しています。 ストレステストを行っても最高温度が低めに抑えられていて好印象です。 対応メモリに1866MHzと記載されているので1600MHzだとCPU周波数が下がるのかな、と心配していましたが問題なかったです。 きちんと省電力時は1.4GHzまで下がりちょっとした負荷なら3.2GHz、高負荷時に最大4GHｚまで、こまめに変動しています。 昔はメモリとCPUのベースクロックが合致していないとダメだった気がするのですが、FXシリーズについては杞憂だったようです。 FF14ベンチマークをDX11、標準（ノートPC）から最高品質までをフルHDサイズ（ウィンドウモード）で回したところ、グラボの負荷が100％になることはあってもCPU負荷が100％になることはありませんでした。 またCPU負荷は8コアすべてに分散されており、スレッドの一つが90％まで上がることがあっても全体としてはせいぜい60％、だいたいは40％あたりを推移することが多かったです。 ベンチマーク中に他の作業をしていてもカクつき、もたつきは特に感じませんでした。 用途によりますがCPUを安いAMDにして浮いた分をグラボに当てる方が賢い選択かもしれませんね。

Buen procesador asequible que no tiene que envidiar a un Intel i5. Necesita de una placa base de socket am3+, pero no es difícil ,todavía, de encontrarlas. Con este procesador y una buena gráfica actual de gamma media/alta montas un ordenador “gamming” por menos de 600€. Además, este procesador puedes hacerle overclock si la placa base lo permite por lo que la inversión con este procesador te aseguras un equipo por más tiempo de vida útil.

Excellent cpu. Great performance and power efficient. Must have if you are a content creator or gamer.

Leider ist mein alter 6 Kerner, der Phenom II 960 T, beim Ausbau kaputt gegangen, da er dermaßen fest mit dem Kühler verschweißt war, dass ich ihn versehentlich mit aus dem Sockel gezogen habe. Gleichzeitig gab dann auch das Mainboard den Geist auf. Nun überlegte ich, ob ich den Wechsel auf die Ryzen Generation in Angriff nehmen soll oder ob ich ein Übergangssystem für einen geringen Preis aufbaue. Meine Recherche zur Gaming Tauglichkeit der AM3+ CPUs ließ mich doch etwas ernüchtert zurück. Die einizige AM3+ CPU, die überhaupt noch für aktuelle Titel mit hohen Settings eingesetzt werden kann, ist der 8350. Da ich, wenn ich auf Ryzen wechsle dann doch lieber ein richtiges High End System aufbauen möchte und meine Kasse momentan eher semi befüllt ist, entschied ich mich nun für die Übergangslösung aus 8350 und AM3+ Board, das ASROCK N68C GS4 FX. Mit beiden Teilen zusammen bin ich jetzt unter 150 Euro geblieben. Die hier gekaufte CPU, der 8350E, ist letztlich nichts anderes als heruntergetakteter 8350, welcher als Energiesparversion des 8350 auf den Markt kam. daher auch das E als Zusatz. Das heiß, man kann diese CPU wieder auf das Niveau eines 8350 auftakten und ebenso noch weiter übertakten, da ja auch der 8350 über seinen Normaltakt hinaus übertaktet werden kann. Einzig das Mainboard braucht hierzu die entsprechende Funktionalität, so dass die Übertaktung in Angriff genommen werden kann. Beachtet werden sollte auch, dass E für Energiesparen durch die Übertaktung natürlich ebenso weggetaktet wird, da nur der niedrigere Takt für den geringeren Verbrauch ursächlich ist. Wie schon gesagt, die CPU ist absolut baugleich zum 8350 Modell. Momentan stabil laufende Taktrate: 4,1 Ghz bei 1,40 Volt Die CPU dient mir vorwiegend für den Gaming Bereich und ist auch momentan bei vielen neuen Spielen noch als empfohlene CPU mit aufgeführt, auch wenn sie gerade im Single Core Bereich nicht besonders glänzt. Aber das ist nichts, was man in der Alltagsanwendung spürt und erst im wirklichen High End Bereich relevant wird. Wer eine gute Grafikkarte sein eigen nennt, kann in Verbindung mit dieser CPU fast alle aktuellen Spiele in FULL HD genießen. Momentan sind sowieso oft die Grafikkarten der Flaschenhals, und nicht die CPUs. Ich denke ich werde mit dieser CPU nun noch 2 Jahre gut durchkommen, bevor ich dann auf die Ryzen wechseln werde. Fazit: alle die eine günstige und spieltaugliche Übergangslösung suchen, sind mit dieser CPU gut bedient und erhalten gleichzeitig noch reichlich Übertaktungspotential.
