I’m a bit of a curry monster and this is really good stuff. Just add 85g of the concentrate to one pint of water (570mL) and gentle bring to simmer, while stirring. Done! It comes in a fully resealable plastic container for storage and has a use-by date of 11 months. (Although that’s unlikely to be an issue!) Each container has enough concentrate to make just over 5 pints (3 litres) of sauce. This is a great thing to have on stand-by in the cupboard to knock up a really quick and tasty curry with an onion and a bit of left over chicken, sausages or beef, etc, cheer up chips or whatever you fancy and makes a nice prawn or vegetable curry too! Recommended

This is a very good curry sauce paste for people who like Cantonese curry, it tastes delicious whatever it is mixed with. It however can be tricky to mix without creating lumps in the sauce, so read the instructions carefully if you don't want to have to strain them out before serving.

If you love Chinese takeaway curry then you will definitely love this - I can barely tell the difference! It's really, really easy to make too. I simply fry off some chicken and chopped onion, stir about a 5th of this packet into a pint of cold water, add to the frying pan and bring to the boil. Finally serve with some rice and job done. Will definitely buy again as never seen this to buy in any local shops. I purchased 2 packs for £6.50 so works out about to about 65p for a pint of curry sauce. Delivery was really quick too (next day) and was shipped from Tradewinds Oriental Shop.

this came superbly well packaged,packed with much care,and arrived in perfect condition(I have bought tis before and arrived damaged) . I have tried the 'hot' versin,but wasn't particularly hot,so I have returned to the original,and if I want it more spicy,I can just add some hot chilli powder. This does reproduce the flavour and consistancy of the chinese take away ! It is gighly reccomended, and east to make, very tasty even without meat,simply vegetables are nice enough.

Easy to use and makes curries truly authentic

I bought a pack of 2 of these curry pastes and I am very disappointed, I had to take a hammer and chisel to the first one it was hard as granite it took over half an hour to chip off enough for one curry and I’ll just discard the second one as it’s soul destroying trying to convert it from solid to useable ,NEVER AGAIN !

I used the amount recommended and made a pint of curry stock . I added star anise and other vegetables and left simmering .It thickened up and made a very nice curry. It may seem a bit pricey at first but sticking to using the recommended amount it works out to be good value.
