I wonder if this will set off smoke detectors if used in large rooms or gymnasiums? The lingering fog definitely does...

I've used this in a very small dorm room with detectors in it before and it disappears so quick that I had no problems. I'd say you're totally safe using this in a large room or a gym.

Will this lay low on the ground?

Froggy’s has versions that are meant to stay low to the ground. You’ll need a fog chiller of some kind, but this will disappear too quickly for that.

Can I use this in my Chauvet Hurricane 1302?

I use it in Chauvet Geyser P7’s. You should be fine.

I want to use this in a small office, but I want to know if it will activate the water sprinklers?

Sprinklers are activated by heat not smoke. However if you are using this in an upshot fogger the plums can go as high as 15 feet.
