If I like it I buy it twice! Syntech Airplane Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver
A very good product for what it does. It is able to connect bluetooth devices that otherwise has no 3.5mm audio plug. With such a little device you can connect your bluetooth speaker by switching a little switch underneath the unit. The display is well though because its actually showing what device is connected to. On the display will appear Rx if the device is receiving signal or Tx if the device.A very good and pleasant experience with the seller professional packaging!. A very good receiver and transmitter!I would like to suggest a little improvement on coverage area and reconnecting possibility because once connected (receiving) if you reach max coverage the device does not reconnect itself. I would definitely buy one or even 2 more of these if the re-connection and coverage improves. I do move a lot around the house and an improved coverage and re-connection capability would make it perfect device for me.The size is small as portable as it can be. Battery life is good, and more importantly for situation when you are using it while stationary IT CAN CHARGE while is plugged in, connecting devices that you'll like to use while is getting charged. A very good function for me. It does take a little while to fully charge but is not the end of the world. It is truth that the device does not seems to show a full battery when is fully charged - it is keep showing a charging state. Again is not the end of the world. you can unplug and plug again then the display will show you a full charged battery. If you are looking for a versatile device hat connects multiple devices either by receiving or transmitting this is for you! Don't get confused - it is either transmitting or receiving only, not both at the same time.Of course is that easy to use I did not even looked in the manual.Any questions, just ask here on amazon.Kind regards,J

Excellent piece of kit
Really good piece of kit. I bought it to turn my wired headphones into Bluetooth via receiving function so that I can listen in the gym connecting to Spotify via iPhone. You can also use it to transmit , itโs on transmit as default but easy to switch. Battery life is good too. Light and portable. Has a little display , change track and volume , canโt ask for more really.

Seems to be ok.
Hopefully going away this year, and want to use my own earbuds and headphones, so needed something that would make connections to aircraft entertainment easy. I have set this us at home using it on a bedside radio. Took a while to get it to link to both, various issues, and not being patient enough, to allow alll the setting up to settle. Once done though sound quality sounds good, Better with the over ear compared to ear buds, no lag noticeable, but not seen any videos with them yet. Once logged on, itโs easy to switch between. Them. So hopefully will be able to use on holiday.

Great value product, worked really well
We brought two of these to take on a flight to LA last Wednesday.I chose these BT adapters as they have a detachable cable and most planes will have them hanging from the headphone socket, I was worried that over time it could damage the cable so wanted to be able to replace that if needed. With a full charge they lasted the 10.5 hour flight to LA from London, sound quality was good paired with my Soundcore Space one headphones.Nice little case for them to be kept in, a short charging cable, and a short 3.5mm cable. Easy to setup and get working.

Does what it says on the tin
Brilliant bit of kit and easy to set up. At the moment I have used it to enable a 10 year old IPad to connect to sets of wireless headphones so that my wife and myself can watch something together on a plane at the same time. I have no doubt it will be easy to connect to the Emirates entertainment system later this year.

Everyone who flies commercial needs this wireless headphone adapter.
This wireless transceiver comes in handy traveling on most large airplanes with the 2 pin system used for headphones. This includes the 2 pin adapter so you simply plug it in and start listening! This internal battery runs for many hours once charged. Its compact size makes it perfect for your pocket. The zip up case holds everything you need.

An excellent item for your "audio toolkit" for devices without bluetooth, or with old bluetooth
A lot of audio devices, past and present alike, use only wired external audio connections. While "home stereo" systems will often use digital connections or analog RCA jack type connections, smaller (and typically portable) devices use 3.5mm coaxial audio jacks ("headphone jacks") by default, as do many, if not most, computers and tablets. Most more recent ones have pretty good bluetooth available, built-in, as an option. But this is not the case in ever device, and certainly not with many older, but still very serviceable, devices. And note, older versions of Bluetooth are, not surprisingly, of lower overall quality than the more current generations are. From lower audio quality, to more lag, to shorter range... it's been an evolutionary growth from the earliest bluetooth to the most current generation. The market has a lot of one-way bluetooth adapters. I personally own several, both for "audio in" and "audio out" functions. I have a bluetooth-out connected to the optical digital audio out port on a television set I own, for example, and a bluetooth-in device connected to one of the auxiliary-audio-in ports (dual RCA jacks) on my home audio amplifier. But these are neither conveniently portable, nor flexible in terms of what they can do.That's where this device stands out. It's at the latest widely-used bluetooth version (later generations have been developed but not yet really introduced to the market) and is both highly portable and flexible in terms of how it can be used.It basically converts between radio-frequency digital Bluetooth signals and 3.5mm coaxial analog audio plug audio. But it can go either way (though not both simultaneously!), and is not restricted to only one functionality. It works well. I've not experienced any "lag" I can personally detect, though there's probably a BIT of that (more likely than not, measured in milliseconds and thus imperceptable to me or to any actual mortal human!)When used to pick up bluetooth from and convert it into analog audio (for analog-only headphones, etc), the quality is extremely good... indistinguishable, to my ears, from the audio coming directly out through the playback device's analog headphone port to the same headphones. I can't detect any difference whatsoever. Someone with an oscilloscope and a lot of time MIGHT be able to find something, but I certainly can't.Going the other way... in my case, picking up bluetooth from my cell phone and, through a 3.5mm-to-RCA-jack adapter cable, going to my home theater system's amplifier... again, I can't hear any difference from when I go directly from my phone's 3.5mm jack to the amplier.I cannot detect any lag, I cannot detect any reduction in audio quality. In essence, as far as I'm able to tell, this is every bit as good as any hard-wired connection I could hope for.Yes, it's an additional device, which isn't as convenient as top-quality bluetooth built right in to both devices at both ends of the connection. But it's small and easily carried, and thus the inconvenience is minimal. The only issue I can't really address is whether this will continue to work as well as it has so far, longer-term. Some electronic devices "wear out" over time... poor chip design, poor thermal management, etc... and I can't really comment on the long-term life of the device. But if it continues to work as well, long-term, as it has so far in my limited useage... I can recommend it unconditionally.

Best Bluetooth Transmitter I've reviewed until now
If you check out my Amazon reviews history, you'll come across several more covering different Bluetooth transmitters. I can confidently say that this Syntech model is the best I've reviewed. Thanks to its LCD screen and directional buttons, Syntech has solved the problem of locating and connecting to your wireless headphones. You can now actually see which headphone is in pairing mode, select the specific one you want to connect, and confirm that the connection is really working. All others try to get these functions covered with a single button and a single tiny LED light, and being more oriented towards the Receive mode, they don't put too much consideration into the Transmit failures. In addition, the Syntech designers seem to have heard my complaints about the other models, and they include an airline adaptor in the box. Everything is in a small carry case that is intended to be used as a keychain. The device has enough power to keep you going through an intercontinental flight (15 hours). You can control the volume level, and a full charge is obtained in 1.5 hours.I haven't mentioned the Receiver mode at all, because I'm not planning to use that at all. This is worth its cost just for the Tx mode, and it rocks. It's the best portable transmitter available in the market right now for travel purposes, and it easily deserves the 5 stars it gets. Highly recommended.

Great to use with Apple Airpods in the airplane
Really easy to connect to my Airpods and use it in the plane.Zero connectivity problems, I used in an entire flight from Barcelona to Brazil without issues. They send it with a small and beautiful case to save the cables and the device
