Masterpart Warming Drawer Mechanical Lock Switch Compatible With Neff 12041787, 12048040

This is a fairly easy thing to fit. It appears most Bosch warming drawers have the same catch I think. There's some videos on YouTube. To fit you need to pull the drawer out. Undo the two screws looking down in the front left and front right corner. And gently lift the drawer out. At this point you'll see the previous catch sitting in the back. In order to remove the previous catch you need to put a screwdriver in the little catch the back left of it lift it and push the whole unit to the right. This is the most difficult bit it's quite fiddly. With the new unit there is a white section that you can turn on Allen key in. This adjusts how near or far that drawer sets after it sits in the catch. The Allen key turning bit turns infinitely so you can level up the draw. To connect the new catch you offered up to the three lugs at the back and just push it to the left. The most difficult bit is removing the old unit because it has this as I said catch that lifts at the back to release it from the three lugs Hope this helps

Our Neff warmer drawer has never shut reliably, but finally gave up this week. This part is a direct replacement, although the design is slightly different. There are videos on YouTube for doing the swap, which is a straightforward DIY job. You do need the right size Torx screwdriver bit to remove the drawer, and a small screwdriver to release the old catch. I did a 'dry run' before the part arrived after which the actual replacement took about 10 mins.
