Great and engaging game, well illustrated, not overly complicated
This is a fun game that might last as long as you are thinking about the options! You can also learn things about local festivities, costumes and culture, and a bit of history. Well designed, nice illustrations, sturdy materials. Well done! I will add that it is not easy for me to learn new complex games but I picked this up in no time.

Fun introduction to travel in Japan
Not only a lot of fun, but gives a good sense of what there is to do in the two main tourist destinations in Japan. Does take most people a couple of games to understand how to play it well.

Good Product, Packaging Needs Attention
Item arrived with dents, but I got it replaced. I think the packaging could be improved because there's some tearing on the outer package upon arrival. Anyway, I'm now satisfied with the copy I got. Thanks, Amazon!

Love this game!
I play this solo and love it. The illustrations are beautiful. I take my time and read some of the info on all the Japanese places. The rules are clear and the solo game works well. I have lost and won equally. It does take quite a bit of space because you still need 2 playing boards for the solo game but on a dining table or medium large coffee table, you should be ok. Quality of materials is good. Printing some of the tokens could be a bit more centered but not an issue for playing.

Easy to learn
This game is easy to learn, plays fairly quickly and it has nice theme that fits the game. If you like take that in games this not a game for you, there is virtually no interaction between players. If you enjoy games that are more multi-player solitaire that require planning and figuring the combinations that will produce the highest score then this is your type of game. If you are a solo gamer then 100% you should try this game. The solo mode is excellent and the bot is easy to learn and run.

Planning a trip to Japan? Start here!
I'm a planner and a list maker and I love this game. You plan your days, strategically placing the cards below each day of the week so that the icons and rewards work to give you a good score. It plays in two parts, first planning by choosing cards. Second by activating each day and seeing how well your plans worked out. The cards are well illustrated and have background information about each of the locations and activities in Tokyo and Kyoto. I love how the game came to by as well. The creators were planning a trip to Japan when Covid happened so they took all of their research and came up with the game. Brilliant.

Great game but damaged insert and miscut tokens
The game itself was playable and fun, though some impact during shipping may have caused the heavy player boards to damage the thin cardboard insert. Several tokens also had miscuts. Nevertheless, great game if you love Japan!
