The Undisputed King of DAWs
So, after many years of using FL's pirated version (straight back to Fruity Loops days) to finally owning a full license, I can say the feeling is exhilarating. FL Studio, in my opinion, is the best DAW out there, because it caters to those who prefer the simpler pattern-based way of doing things, and with its new versions also welcomes those who come from a more conventional DAW background (Cubase, ProTools). FL Studio really isn't the easiest DAW to learn (which DAW is?), but there are a ton of resources and training that anyone can access completely free of charge. Other than Ableton, I really don't think any of other DAW is as popular. Although it takes some learning, when you've learnt it, there's nothing you can't do in it; it really is that powerful. The stock sounds are synths that come out of the box are more than decent, and range from stellar, to great, to decent...to blah. But it's more than enough to get your feet wet. To truly see the full potential of any DAW out there, I'd advise anyone to get some VST synths, instruments and mixing plugins. But right out of the box, Image-Line gives you all the tools for the job, and then some. Speaking of tools, I have to touch briefly on FL's most powerful tool; the Piano Roll, which is arguably the best piano roll of any DAW - it's extremely powerful and versatile. What's best about Image Line and FL Studio is that it's the ONLY DAW on the market that gives you Lifetime Free Updates for the version you purchased! Yes, you heard correctly...you never have to pay for an update to the version you purchased. So I really don't know why I took so long to purchase this. My only con with this purchase is that I didn't receive the USB flash drive other users got. Instead, I only received the Getting Started manual and a serial license to register the product on Image-Line's site, which is good. But I was really hoping to have a physical product, for sentimental reasons. A black box just doesn't do it for me. But I suppose they stopped shipping this with the flash drive. If this was an error, I'd be happy if Image Line could send me the flash drive. All in all though, this was an excellent purchase. If you're still on the fence about getting this, don't be - just buy it and start making the music you've always wanted to make!

Great deal for a top tier DAW
I would highly recommend purchasing this software. Not only is it $50 cheaper here than anywhere else but its also in my opinion, one of the best production software's on the market. Many famous musicians are known to use this software. I also want to make it clear that although it says the software is easy to use, you can't just jump into this and create music. Like many other software's, you have to learn how to use it. Learn the shortcuts. There are many YouTube videos for beginners who have no idea what they are doing. Watch some videos before you jump in so you can avoid frustrations. As a beginner myself, I was able to learn a lot about this DAW and have now ordered a midi keyboard to further my learning progression. Overall, very happy with FL studio. The customer support was also very friendly when I called about questions and I received the package in no time at all.

Amazing entertainment. Pro music making tool.
This multi track program, og midi / analog / audio sound recording, midi sequencer, music program, is amazing, nothing short of ingenious. You can do everything here in terms of producing music, and reach far in sound processing. You can make as many tracks as you need, or want, as long as your home computer can cover them, and there are also midi gears and equipment - hardware / USB products, which the computer must also pull and supply power to via. the motherboard. You can tune everything on each channel, and that goes for effects and coloring of the sounds. You can make sounds yourself. You can record vocals - guitars etc. etc. And mix it all up and still build on the product. You can create audio libraries, delete instruments from already known recorded tracks, if you want to da a re mix of old songs track(s) with your own or dj's op to date 2020 sounds. You can edit allready made sounds or soundtracks, singles and even complete albums There are hours of entertainment and LEARNING in this program. Sound processing is to a certain limit, I suggest investing in Sound Forge AUDIO STUDIO 14 or another in the line of these. There are unimaginable possibilities, and there will be many more possibilities if you invest a little more in software and hardware. A sound mixer, a microphone, headphones, and a few studio monitors. (A slightly larger set up would typically require midi drums, midi keyboard (s), etc.) I am happy and satisfied with this purchase. In fact, I work with this program every day, several hours at a time, and in addition, I use pro tools.

The code worked, but I have a few complaints
Update: I am starting to like FL studio more. Even though I find him a bit harder to follow then some others, i recommend "jaycactus" on youtube for learning how to use the program. I found a way to delete every trial on FL studio which also helped me personally. Spending an hour or two learning to make music just to hear... "oh yea you can't really use that without paying a couple more hundred" over and over gets really frustrating. Previously: The greed in the music industry is such a spirit killer. I'm still in the stage of just trying to learn and I keep running into a wall of industries being needy, like beggars "pay more money please". I specifically spent the money on the program hoping to avoid pay walls. There are "trial instruments" included and others that I wrongly thought were free to use, that I have downloaded, and you are not actually allowed to use them without paying to unlock them. So it's down two stars for FL studio I would rather trial versions were not installed with the program. On the positive side There are great plug ins that you can actually use that are included,... but I'm learning to read the top of every instrument to make sure it doesn't say "trial version". The code worked out of the box, and FL studio offers lifetime updates. Lifetime updates is why i went with FL studio over others. The program is a bit of a learning process but not too bad. I just keep getting hit with the "you don't actually get to use this" hammer, "without paying the fee". FL studios is still one of the more affordable options out there.

LOOK AT THE SELLER YOU'RE BUYING FROM FIRST
First off, this software is *the* version to get if you're looking to buy FL Studio. As a total beginner, I used the free trial edition which gave me a chance to use every plug-in available, but with some limitations of course, including a lack of being able to open what you save. The interface to me is the easiest to work with, but this is a complex program that doesn't come with tutorials out of the box, so YouTube and many other websites will be needed in order to use this to its full potential. FL Studio is what you make of it, you get out what you put in. As much as I want to just pick it up and go, there's a bit more that goes into it than just that if you want to make music. As for the title of my review, I had seen this on sale for $150 instead of the usual $200, which is extremely rare as FL never goes on sale unless it's black Friday. Long story short, the seller that had put it up for that much ended up sending me a calculator which I've attached a picture of, with a poorly and improperly written note saying to contact them for a download or usb. They had already contacted me the day of buying, and in the end they sent me a link to download a pirated copy of this software. Luckily I got my money back, and the second time I tried buying, the page defaulted to a brand new seller with no reviews. This type of thing has never happened to me and I've never bought software off of Amazon so please, PAY ATTENTION TO THE SELLER YOU ARE BUYING FROM, AND BUY FROM A MORE TRUSTED SELLER. I bought my copy from AudioDeluxe and had no issue what so ever. They sent me an FL Studio Producer Edition box which contained a quick start guide that had a serial number on the front. Throw that into your account on Image Line, and it's as easy as that. FL Studio Producer Edition gives you enough tools to get your foot in the door, the rest is on the user. I've saved a few projects in the Trial Version and was able to open them no problem, however opening a project that uses a plug in that's used in the more expensive versions will end up erasing the sounds from those plug-ins if you've placed them in there. I haven't tried to use them yet, but there are hundreds of other plug-ins, both free and paid, that you can download, you're not just limited to FL. Producer Edition also has more useful features in it compared to the $99 Fruity edition, automation clips I think are not able to be used in that. Please do your own personal research before buying this or any other DAW, it's not for everyone, and none of them are that easy to pick up.

FL Studio Producer - Much better than expected
I only bought this software because it was compatible with a suite of Plug ins I purchased for use with another DAW. I have been aware of FL Studio for a number of years however I never took it seriously because of the way it was marketed, "Fruity Edition"...Really ! I honestly expected it to be very Micky Mouse..aimed at young kids trying to find an easy way to make beats, however to my surprise it turned out to be a competently designed product with very liberal licencing policies. The producer version comes complete with a number of interesting synths and features, It also has semi functioning versions of several more products that are available for an additional premium, I don't believe you can use them for recording purposes, however you are free to experiment with them in a player mode. It is simple, yet a bit confusing in its simplicity if you are accustomed to other high end DAWs. It is a patterned base system, You create various beats. rhythms and melody elements as patterns and then paste them together to create your product. It's flexible and quite powerful even without the more advanced addons which are more suited to studio professionals and sound engineers than to the average musician/player. Even a relative amature should be able to produce a reasonably good sounding product or demo. ...With its Life Time Updates policy ...at least so far it appears to be a good value. There are more powerful and sophisticated DAWs available ,however they are more complex and difficult to use.
