Great product for novice plotters
After a lot of reviews and research I decided to get the iDraw 2.0 despite there being a newer version of this model. This device requires some assembly which is pretty straightforward in my opinion - there are several videos online of how to assemble as well. I would suggest anyone that buys this product to also purchase some magnets in the cases where you are printing on paper (small fridge magnets will do in the interim). As a novice plotter I wasn’t sure what to expect but after a few YouTube videos I got the hang of what to expect. If you’re like me and need basic plotting needs like writing hand written letters/covers this is an excellent product - fonts like Rollerscript and Moonstone are great for hand-written feel and you can transpose an image of your signature for even more authentic look. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested. There are several products and manufacturers on the market but after doing thorough research I’m glad this product worked out!

Great plotter to get started or if looking for something compact
Overall, this is a great choice for anyone getting started with pen plotting or looking for a compact device which 'just works'. Assembly is quick and easy (less than 20 minutes), and I was impressed at how it worked out of the box with Inkscape. Some of the standouts for me are: • Build Quality – Feels very well made; the aluminum extrusion frame is solid and firmly connected to the drawing platform. The drawing platform is powder-coated steel that's ferrous, so magnets can hold down the paper. • Assembly doesn't take long—around 20 minutes. The machine arrives partially assembled and only requires attaching the X-axis rail and plugging in wires. • Both axes move smoothly, and the lifting mechanism works well even at high speed. • Auto-homing accuracy is good. I've been able to re-home and switch out pens with good alignment between layers/colors. • Price! For what you get, and as a hobbyist, I feel this is good value for money—either as something to experiment with, or as a smaller pen plotter to keep around. What I think could be improved: • Setup Documentation – Finding resources (setup videos, guides) on the UUNA Tek website takes some investigation. The unit does come with a Quick Start sheet which directs you to their YouTube channel and website documentation, but I needed to go through multiple web pages and Google Drive folders to find what's needed. I put together a getting started video that I'll post sometime, but it would be great if UUNA Tek spent some time better structuring the support and getting started documentation online. • USB Mini – The unit has a USB Mini port and comes with a USB-A to Mini cable. I would have preferred the more commonly used USB-C. • Magnets – For some reason, my unit didn't come with magnets to secure the paper or card to the drawing platform. A few sets would have been ideal. The UUNA Tek iDraw 2.0 A4 offers excellent build quality, smooth operation, and impressive value for hobbyists and beginners entering the pen plotting space. While the documentation could be better organized and a few accessories feel dated or missing, the overall experience delivers on its promise of a compact, reliable plotter that just works. If you're looking for an affordable entry point into generative art or handwriting automation, this is a solid choice.

Pretty picture worthless machine
Well build, but try to make it work. The necessary drivers are no where to be found. It look good on YouTube, but that's where it end. If you buy it, its your fault.

High Quality Pen Plotter
I own two pen plotters made by Uuna Tek. When I accidentally uploaded the wrong firmware on my iDraw 1.0, customer support was able to send me the correct firmware - 5 years after I purchased the unit. This speaks to the longevity and reliability of the company making these units. When I opened the iDraw 2.0, it was immediately apparent how well-made and sturdy it is. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Videos are provided giving clear instructions. I am familiar with Inkscape and the iDraw extensions from my other pen plotter, so getting started was really easy for me. If you don’t have any experience with pen plotting and the iDraw/Axidraw extensions, it might take some research, but there are many YouTube videos from both the seller and others. The iDraw extensions folder contains controllers for several different models- when I used the extensions specifically for iDraw 2.0, the device was immediately recognized and responded to manual commands. The iDraw 2.0 has a really nice level base with a clip to hold paper. The printed grid is very helpful to align paper and get everything ready to plot. The iDraw 1.0 sat directly on a table. While they both have a drawing area of ~8.5 x 11 inches, it was possible to use slightly larger paper with the iDraw 1.0, because it sat on the same surface as the paper. I haven’t tried bigger paper to see if the 2.0 can accommodate 9x12 or 11x14 paper. Regardless, I prefer the sturdy aluminum extrusions of the iDraw 2.0- if I want to plot bigger, I might look at the next size up from Uuna Tek. I can confidently recommend the iDraw 2.0 as a quality pen plotter with very good customer support.
