I got this during the very cold snap recently as I have a robin in the garden. As the temperature dropped to minus 7 degrees I noticed he was following me all around the garden. I figured because the ground was frozen he couldn't peck for food in the soil. That made me realise there was little shelter from the cold as all the trees had dropped their leaves. I wondered where he was sleeping at night to protect against the cold . I couldn't find anywhere obvious that was his nest so I bought this one for him. It's made of twigs and quite roomy for a small bird to build a nest inside. It also has a rainproof roof. I don't know if he used it as I didn't want to intrude in case he felt threatened by my presence but he survived the two weeks of below freezing weather with the help of shelter and regular food I put out. For the price it's good value for money and it looks natural among the trees. You can also fix it to a shed or somewhere similar.

Great robin nest. Bigger than I thought so was well pleased

This is a neat "natural look" nester. I got mine for some robins that had just started to build a nest in my garage when I'd left the window open for a day or two. If they move in they should have quite a comfy home. We'll see. My only criticism really is that the wire to attach it with comes from a single point on the back, and is very thin, so I'm not sure how secure it would be just using that. I used some extra wire to hold the entire box in place under my eaves.

Natural looking bird house ideal for Robins and birds that like a more open house. We've secured within a Jasmine bush on the fence and regularly see Robins checking it out. Easy to fix and has lasted for a year or more.

Ok but expensive for what it is. Haven’t seen any birds in it though

This is lovely. It has a little roof inside, well made and strong wire to attach it to branches. I've put it up in a bay tree, facing east, pretty much hidden. So will see what happens. Robins had a successful nest on the floor of my greenhouse this year, so am hoping this is an upgrade.

It's being used by some sparrows this spring, very exciting

Last year the robins kept trying to start a nest in this specific spot but couldn’t make it work. I ordered this but it was too late it in the season for anyone to claim it for more than a quick stop. I’m so excited to say that this year a pair of house finches are calling it home. It was very easy to secure and is well made. So far the birds seem very happy with it and mama bird peers out to watch as we come and go from the house.
