I must say I'm impressed with this poncho good tuff material also rip stop the bag it comes in is off the same quality very heat duty material very well made it can be worn for heat rain and if need be open up the poppers on each side and you have a tarp for shelter love this poncho looking forward to testing it out in the field but I'm impressed 👍 highly recommend it excellent light wheight treckiing camping bushcraft companion or just in a bag when out in nature never leave home without it when going into nature great but of kit thanks mil tech

I bought this as an emergency poncho / tarp with the idea that it would be handy to have to put a tarp across a toilet area when out camping in the wild or if it came to it, use it as a poncho to answer the call of the wild in the rain. It packs very small, nice and light and the eyelets make it very versatile. The only thing I'd say is that if you were to wear it as a poncho for a prolonged period of time you'd end up sweating quite a bit due to the thin nylon material, but that's to be expected as it isn't meant to be breathable. Great value though. For £18.99 (which is what I paid for it from Amazon at the time) it's not a lot of cash or weight to have as an emergency poncho / tarp in your backpack.

I bought two and they are great value for the money. They are not the most lightweight poncho but for the price, wow. The hood is large and requires a hat with a brim to keep it up but it goes over the head easily. You can clip two together to make a large shelter etc. the material press studs and eyelets are very good quality (they are Mil-Tech) as was the service from the supplier. Used them the day they arrived at a wet and windy youngsters rugby match, so many people were interested in them I think I might have started a trend, especially as I could keep my cup of coffee out of the rain. Getting the poncho back in the pouch as neatly as it arrived was a non event, it was rolled up into a that will do size and stuffed in.

The material is actual ripstop nylon, coated with PU on the inside. It isn't the lightest - not by a long shot - but it does fell well made and looks like it will last. Will this keep you dry in heavy rain? Yes. It will also make you sweat a fair amount if you exert yourself while wearing it.

Good size, perfect for fishing. Waterproof in worst conditions. Useful when on stool, box, chair etc, keeps all equipment covered. Very light, but sweaty inside on long walks, undo studs for ventilation, no longer a problem. Hood excellent size, may creep down a bit, but wear a cap, hat etc.. underneath and the hood becomes perfect for the job. Very useful when under umbrella and have to leave umbrella to land a large fish; cape keeps you dry, just be careful when bending down not to step on cape. Slight note of warning, watch for thorn bushes, although the material is 'ripstop'; thorns seem large this year with all the rain we have had in June. Rain obvivously drips off at the bottom, can soak shoes and the lower part of trousers, recommend wearing water proof trousers or leggings with approriate boots or footwear. Overall excellent piece of gear for the price. Will keep you dry. Need not be used just for fishing. Don't let camo put you off, not just suitable for fishing but also for stalking, camping, shooting etc... The cape is so light and in its own pouch, worth keeping in car or rucksack for emergencies. The woodland camo pattern is fine, fished the other day wearing cape during downpour and caught in the margins 13 carp on club lake up to 15LBS. Does the job!!!!!!!

TLDR: light, waterproof & multi-functional shelter. Good value. My partner and I started hammock camping recently, as we wild camp away from the car (gotta love the Scottish outdoor access code) we wanted to reduce the weight we had to carry. We ordered a pair of these Mil-Tec ponchos as they are multi-functional. We were quite impressed by them - they are light but fairly sturdy and kept the rain off in the night - we had a much better night's sleep than my friend who had borrowed one of our bivi bags. I suppose the Flecktarn also helps us keep a low profile. Overall we are chuffed with them, especially since they didn't break the bank.

big poncho and great quality .

I have heard allot of reviews on these poncho's, like being able to make shelters with them, so i decided to get one. It arrived within the week i ordered it despite bad weather and on opening I was very impressed. The poncho is huge which allowed me and my burgen to remain dry despite walking 3 miles in heavy rain. Only my lower half of my shines got wet which was not a big deal. The sides of the poncho are connected with 'pop buttons' which can be undone to create a large waterproof sheet mush like you're very own basha/tarp! This makes it useful to have at hand, especially for camping as it it light weight and can be worn or made into a shelter. it is easy to dry and clean. The only downfall with this product is that it did not feel very strong. Although the ripstop squires are noticeable the material is very thin and it would not surprise me it it would rip under strain. brilliant for camping but not very heavy duty. came in it's own draw string bag and available in a range of different camouflage.

Grazie ad un amico sono venuto a conoscenza di questo fantastico prodotto. Si tratta di un KWay, più poncio a dire il vero, molto ben realizzato e che tiene ogni tipo di pioggia. Le cuciture sono cerate, ed è realmente impermeabile. All'occorrenza può diventare un telo impermeabile (tramite bottoni a pressione, a doppia faccia), utile come coperta su erba bagnata, o come tela per un riparo improvvisato per più persone. Ha anche dei cordini, che ti aiutano ad attaccarlo a vari punti per creare appunto un eventuale riparo. L'unico neo è un po' la pesantezza di questo poncio, ma non potrebbe essere altrimenti visto l'impermeabilità totale che propone... Consigliatissimo... 防水性に申し分なく、風も通しません。 内側にガイロープが付いているので、タープとしては小さいですが 出先の臨時バイクカバーとしてはとても優秀です。 一応劣化による浸水を警戒はしていますが 今のところ不満はありません。

Excellent product

Der Mil-Tec Regenponcho hat mich positiv überrascht. Das reißfeste Ripstop-Material fühlt sich stabil an, bleibt dabei aber angenehm leicht und flexibel. Selbst bei stärkerem Regen hält der Poncho zuverlässig dicht und bietet dank der großzügigen Größe sehr guten Schutz – auch wenn man einen Rucksack darunter trägt. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass man ihn schnell überwerfen kann und er nicht viel Platz braucht, wenn man ihn verstaut. Die Druckknöpfe an den Seiten sorgen dafür, dass er nicht im Wind flattert und sich gut anpassen lässt. Ein wirklich solider, unkomplizierter Regenponcho, der im Alltag, beim Wandern oder auf dem Fahrrad zuverlässig schützt und kaum Gewicht mitbringt.

Its large, wich is good. It covers my battlebag a 25 Litres with ease, seen on the picture. Only thing i would like to add as a upgrade is easy to use clip-closures for the cords. This can ofcourse be added afterhand. Camo-colour is very good. A must in your survivalbag. Also easily folded in to a small package.
