These are too small pieces. It's difficult to hold them even while bathing! The price is too overhyped for the product. I've already tried two of your soaps, with little or no positive result.

I have slowly been trying to replace anything in plastic that I am able. Shampoo and conditioner is my current focus. I got this sampler to try some out and see how it functioned and how my hair felt after. I read a really good review of several different "bar" hair products and Kitsch was highly rated along with two others. She's on all the socials too. Ok - back to the point - The Rice Water set is a FOUR STAR product and something I will likely buy in full size. The shampoo lathers pretty good with patience and the conditioner is superb! It melts easily though so you gotta be sure you have a way to keep it away from the moisture and not in above 80 degree weather. Or put it in your soap holder or something if you are travelling. My hair is soft and clean after using any of the 4 options but the rice water are my favorite. The other set has a nice smell but the shampoo is very difficult to get going and the lather is not there. I know that clean shampoo doesn't foam as much. Very used to that but this is one just isn't for me. The conditioner is the same. It's super slippy on the tub floor believe me! I tried it on my legs for shaving and I was not safe in there afterwards! hahaha But, alas, it's not that softening for my hair and takes forever to soften up as well. There was a tip on the blogger site that mentioned adding harder conditioning bars to a pot of boiling water to get it going. No thanks. Way too much work when there are other products that are nice and easy.

I've used this shampoo & conditioner for about a month. A couple of things before sharing my experience. These are sample bars, not full products, SAMPLES! I really do not understand those that are so upset because the bars are the size of a quarter. I have hair past my shoulders and I have used one bar set 5 or 6 times and still have some more washes to go. I believe part of the problem is that these bars do not foam up and lather like regular shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a very long way. If you're hair starts to feel slick, like you have conditioner in then you're getting it in your hair. I hold it in my palm and rub the actually bar throughout my hair. The first time I used it, I had noticeable difference in my hair texture and volume and shine. I usually wash my hair everyday, I try to do every other day but it starts to feel like straw if I don't rewash. With the bars I went 3 days between wash and honestly could have gone a 4th day probably. My hair feels clean and so soft afterward. It doesn't make my hair feel heavy or bogged down but it also doesn't go flimsy and "fly away." Hope this helps! I just ordered the full bars for the rice one. I liked that best in the samples. Oh, probably should mention my hair has blonde highlights, terrible curls that try to wave up but are too damaged at this point... that said about once or twice a month I do a deep clean with my purple shampoo/conditioner.

I've only used this once, but I'm pleased that it met my expectations. My hair is hard to wash. My scalp is where the dirt and oil is, and it's really hard to reach the spots that need the shampoo. After reading the reviews for this, I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleased with how well it worked. I had to lather up my fingers with enough shampoo so that I could reach my scalp with it. It took several iterations, because my hair tangles so easily when it's wet, but I didn't have to repeat a section once I'd lathered it up. I used the rice water sample bars, which are about the size of a piece of candy in a box of chocolates. I had to use the same technique with conditioner, except that i applied it to the ends and then left it in for about 5 minutes. Both the shampoo and the conditioner rinsed out easily, and it left my hair feeling soft and clean. I would say I have about another 2 washes left for both bars, which is generous considering that these are samples. For those who think that the process sounds painstaking, it is, but it's not worse than what I've had to do when I use liquid shampoo and conditioner, and I'm convinced that I used less product with these bars. Like I said, my hair is hard to wash.

I haven't ever used bar shampoo or conditioner before this. After using this ill never go back! Im really trying to get away from as many plastics as I can. (Save our Oceans). My hair hasent looked this good EVER. It feels soooo lightweight. I dont use leave in conditioners at all anymore and my curls have come back to life! I cant recommend this more. My hair drys faster and feels like its back to its beautiful natural state.

Not too impressed with not having a difference to tell from shampoo to conditioner in sample size and the conditioner didn't seem to last only was able to use for 2 washes so it's hard to say if I like it but the shampoo bar is amazing
