These work great, but are easily lost. Keep that in mind when you are setting up / tearing down. I lost one because one of the technicians taking down the lighting after a show wasn't aware that I had it installed, and it got tossed in with a bunch of the venue's cables. But... they do their job. With 30 odd light fixtures and over 200 feet of cable runs, the lights were rock solid for the entire show (3+ hours). Certainly would not want to run that many fixtures without a terminator.

am still new to DMX, so I am learning the ins and outs of what is actually needed and what is just nice to have. These Cable Matters 120 Ohm DMX terminators were one of those accessories I bought because most DMX setup advice says you should use them at the end of a daisy chain. They feel heavier and better made than I expected, and they plug in nice and solid. There is not much to set up or figure out — you just plug one into the final fixture in the DMX run and move on. Can I 100% see what they are doing? Not really. But for finishing off the end of a DMX daisy chain and helping prevent signal issues, they seem to do exactly what they are supposed to do. Things to know: this is not an exciting accessory, and depending on your setup, you may or may not notice an obvious difference. Final verdict: Simple, well made, and good to have in the DMX box. For the price, I am glad I bought them while building out my lighting system.

I am on the fence with these. The housing is solid and the materials seem good, but so far I used it once and the fixture I plugged it into stopped working. SO I am not sure what the end result was that caused that.
