I love the hot sauce. I received a good variety of flavors. I love them all. There are doubles and quads of each and I am glad because it is more than just a sample.

Great tasting hot sauces

I ordered a 30 pack two days ago, and it just arrived today, August 31, 2024. Normally I'd try them out before posting a review, but what I received is different from what others have reported in their reviews, so I decided to post my review now and I'll update it later to let everyone know what I think of the sauces. Numerous reviewers of the 30 pack have stated that they received 3 each of 10 unique sauces, so that's what I assumed I would also receive, but I was pleasantly surprised to find 22 unique sauces in my variety pack. One bottle expires in June 2025, one in August 2025, and one in September 2025. The rest expire between October 2025 and March 2026. The majority expire in early 2026. I've been using Melinda's Naga Jolokia and Ghost Pepper hot sauces almost exclusively for well over a decade, but I haven't yet tried any of their other sauces, so this should be a good way for me to sample almost all of their sauces and figure out what to buy more of. Of the 24 individual sauces they offer in 2oz bottles, the only two I didn't receive are the Red Savina Pepper Hot Sauce and the Gochujang Korean Hot Chili Sauce. I’ve heard Melinda’s has 40 flavors, but I can’t say if that’s true or not. If so I would have liked a greater variety. I got 8 flavors; 4 bottles each of 6 flavors and 3 each of 2 other flavors. The variety was pretty good in my opinion, only 2 flavors I think I won’t like (just personal taste). Good sized little travel bottles, and overall a good value. Packed well and in good condition on arriving. I am happy with it and will most likely get it again when I need to restock my hot sauce.

I recently purchased a set of hot sauces from [Melinda's got sauce], excited to try new flavors. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was short-lived. Upon inspecting the bottles, I was surprised to find that every single one was expired. The "Best By" dates ranged from 6 months to 2 years past their prime. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I'm disappointed that [Melinda's hot sauce] didn't catch this error before shipping. As a customer, I expect a certain level of quality control. The hot sauces themselves were average, lacking the depth and complexity I've come to expect from [Melinda's hour sauce]. Perhaps freshness plays a role in their flavor profile? I hope [Melinda's got sauce] takes steps to ensure their products are shipped within their expiration dates. Until then, I'd recommend checking the "Best By" dates before purchasing.

I didn't realize that sauces are "random" (3-4 bottles of only 8 flavors).
