I have a small longhaired dog (Pomeranian and papillon) with anxiety issues related to former mistreatment by a previous owner. He is very difficult to groom. He will tolerate brushing for maybe 5 minutes before he starts trying to bite. He has a VERY THICK undercoat that needs to be removed when he sheds. If it isn't removed it gets matted and prevents air from reaching his skin. This could result in his skin not drying after getting wet and cause dangerous skin infections. I wasn't sure what size muzzle I would need. I tried soft muzzles but he was always able to get out of/chew through them. I contacted a groomer who suggested I try a cage muzzle instead.I found this product which is less expensive than most single muzzles I had looked at. I was pleasantly surprised when the set arrived and was durable and well made. I was able to try multiple sizes and find just what I needed. Paired with an undercoat rake/brush, I am able to brush him more safely (for both of us). I am currently brushing him for short (15 to 20 minute) periods and he is starting to get less reactive. I've already removed enough loose hair to make several more small dogs. Lol! If you need a sturdy muzzle but aren't sure what size you need, I highly suggest this product. I am going to donate the sizes I do not need to an animal shelter, so that's a plus for me as well! Samson and I thank you!

I’m a mobile dog groomer and never know if the next dog will have bad day. These work way better than the usual muzzles bcz the teeth are blocked and the pups can breath freely. So many sizes and easy to store. Some were small/big but you can extend them and just tie a knot to make they fit. Highly recommend

The only reason my review is 4 stars instead of 5 is because these are not sturdy bite proof Muzzles for every day use. They are meant for short term use like at the vet or groomer. I am a dog trainer and bought this set so that if one of my clients needs to muzzle train their dog I have multiple sizes on hand that can be used to introduce Muzzles to the dogs. I like the wide size variety and how easy they are to wipe down.

Groomer here. They don't fit tightly around the heads and every dog so far has been able to slip out and I have the adjustments as tight as possible. Don't work for me 😕 and was looking forward to using these instead of the typical black ones, since they provide more air for the pups when under stress.

Durability is good. They are not easy to use, the functionality is not there. The head straps are so big for any of the breeds I’ve tried these on, that they don’t fit. They’re already adjusted to small upon arrival, so there’s no way to make them smaller. This makes the purpose of them (for safety) an issue. Not very safe for grooming dogs.

These muzzles DO NOT fit right and require modification to the draw string to make them fit tight on dogs. I had to cut the cord with scissors and run it back through the sinch to be able to tighten the muzzles enough to fit on dogs.

I'm a professional groomer of 46 years. These muzzles are durable and very reasonably priced. Extremely comfortable for the pets since they can pant while wearing them. Some of the straps are a bit long but easily corrected by shortening with knots or cut off extra and reattach. Not difficult and so worth it for a product that works so well. Extremely happy with this purchase especially since it arrived 24 hrs after ordering!

I use these for dog grooming and they are great because of how many different sizes. Light weight and super easy to clean. They adjust easily and I have yet to have a dog be able to get one off.

The muzzle part is very nice but I'm not sure if they have ever actually tried them on any dogs. I have tried different sizes on different sized dogs and even with the straps pulled all the way through they can easily slide them off. Really like how the muzzle sits on their face but the straps definetly need an adjustment.

This is not a safe or effective muzzle. They can easily get them off and the straps are not designed to adjust properly as they are too long and had to knot it just to fit. The design to stay around their neck is faulty. I am a groomer and tried it on 3 different dogs. They all got gem off using their paws. DO NOT BUY!!
