Couple of months in and they still work great. No issues.

My son has had his PS5 for two years now. He has been dealing with stick drift since about 3 months after starting playing. At first I could go in and clean the wipers. Then I bought replacement analog joysticks and just put those wipers in. I finally broke down and purchased these Hall effect joysticks. I should have done this from the start!! Easy enough to swap out. I have very little experience with soldering but was confident enough. Definitely use high heat and a broader iron tip. Probably don’t spring for the cheapest iron like I did. And don’t let the solder points combine. They actually do need to be separated, cleanish looking. Plenty of helpful videos out there to show you different methods for removing the OEM sticks. After replacing them, my son says the drift is gone and it is even more precise control. For a few dollars you can have an awesome functioning controller again!! Just go for it if you are on the fence.

Had them installed into my controllers and still going strong after a year of regular usage. No more drift and the feel is pretty similar to OEM

These are good for the price. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the right analog stick has a slightly rough feel when moving up and down. It’s not terrible, but it can get annoying at times. Another thing is that even after calibrating, there’s still a small amount of stick drift that won’t completely go away. That said, it’s nowhere near as bad as the OEM sticks that came with the PS5 controller, and it’s much more tolerable than the originals. Overall, I’m satisfied with them. If you plan on installing these, make sure to do your research and have some basic soldering skills. You don’t need to be a pro, but having some experience will definitely help.

Installation is pretty easy and straightforward if you have the necessary skills, or you can follow one of the many in-depth YouTube tutorials available. There are various guides online to help with installation. The Hall-Effect joysticks work great after calibrating them with software online. The range is impressive, as is the circularity. The reason I rated them 4 stars is that while movement works perfectly up, down, left, and right, pressing the R3 (clicking the joystick down) does not register. I’m not sure if this is a specific quality issue with mine, but it doesn’t work for me. After researching online, it could be due to the joysticks not being soldered correctly or a cold solder joint. I double-checked my work, and everything seems fine, but the R3 still doesn’t function. Other than that, it’s a great product. I just wish my R3 worked. I definitely recommend this product.

Compré este kit para mi control DualSense porque uno de mis controles de PlayStation 5 ya tenía el clásico problema de drift, y sinceramente no quería gastar en un control nuevo solo por eso. Después de instalarlo, el resultado fue bastante bueno. El drift desapareció y el control volvió a sentirse preciso en juegos como Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone y Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Al ser joysticks de efecto Hall, en teoría deberían durar más que los analógicos tradicionales porque utilizan sensores magnéticos en lugar de piezas que se desgastan fácilmente. Eso sí, no es un producto para cualquier persona. Si nunca has desarmado un control o no sabes soldar, probablemente te resulte complicado instalarlo. En mi caso tuve que ver tutoriales y hacer una calibración después para que quedara funcionando correctamente. Incluso varios usuarios comentan que la instalación puede ser algo tediosa si no tienes experiencia previa. Great sticks. This repair is fairly advanced. If you have the equipment and skill to remove the original sticks, these go on easy peasy. The trick is getting the original sticks off without damaging anything. You MUST run the config app on them or they will seem borked at first try.

There should be a Zero Star option for items as bad as this!!! As an avid RC Racer and enthusiast since I was 13 years old (I'm now 52), I am an EXTREMELY Experienced working with extremely technical, high-end electronics and I have been modding gaming consoles and controllers since the late 90's and while these things definitely feel very smooth, they ruined and essentially BRICKED not one, but 2 Dualsense Controllers that had Stick Drift!!! I have the soldering tip made specifically for replacing Analog Sticks and I have one of the best soldering irons money can buy and swapping to these was super quick and easy, and though initially the first controller turned right on, as my someone was walking upstairs to his room, it turned off and he thought it just needed to be synced and he took to long and it turned off which is how they're supposed to work. However, he pressed the button again and the lights not he controller came on, but it wouldn't sync to his PS5 no matter what he did. I took it apart again and inspected all my work and it was perfect. Regardless, I figured MAYBE one of my contacts was actually not making contact, so I decided I'd touch up each point with my precision tip, so I placed a little flux on each point, placed a tiny piece of fresh solder on each and heated them up to ensure each point was making contact perfectly, which my volt meter confirmed for me. However, now it didn't turn on at all. I tore it down and reinspected multiple times and it would never come back on. So… I figured maybe one of them was bad and was causing the controller to not function properly, so I decided I'd remove them and solder them to another controller that had drift, and this one worked immediately. My sone went up and played for several hours before going to bed. In the morning however, he went to lay and the controller wouldn't turn on or take a charge no matter what he tried. So, I took out another set of these (I bought 4 sets) and soldered them to the first controller which now had no sticks at all, and this time it turned on immediate once again! Not wanting to get our hopes up, we decided to wait to see if it stayed on. It did! For about 10 minutes while he finished his dinner. When he went upstairs however, the controller was completely non-functional and the lights on it was simply stuck ON. I ahem 4 different PS5's in my house and it didn't sync with any of them. So now I have $160 of controllers that don't work. STAY AWAY!!! I returned the other 4 sticks as there is no way I'd ever entertain the idea of installing these on any controllers. Will be ordering the Gulikit ones to see if miraculously, these controllers resume functioning once again.

Setup is pretty easy if you know what you're doing. If you don't there's this great app called YOUTUBE it will teach you how to install and calibrate the sticks. Oh and it has less tension in the springs less stiffer than than the OEM so you'll probably have to lower your sensitivity if you play fps. On Call of duty I run a 5 and 5 min input deadzone works smoothly no more drifts!

Total waste of time and money. The L3 doesn't work on the first one, so I tried another and that one drift. The 3rd? L3 doesn't work. Installed the last one with working L3 and after an hour it just straight up broken, can only move in upper direction and nothing else works. Into the garbage they go.

Good. Is all i can say. I order 20 in total and 1 of them was a used one. Weird but ok. The pins were all bent on some of them because they don’t package it properly its just in a ziplock bag, not very professional. Nevertheless i tested them with a multimeter and they are in fact real Hall effect. So thats why i give 4 stars even tho it deserves more of a 3 stars.
