Any idea what size is this watch?

51mm. While large, it wears like a Casio ProTek. The numbers are larger and that is a good thing. Original G-Shock digits tend to be small for those that wear reading glasses. This watch is terrific.

What size is the dial?

The dial/digital display is 30mm across (34mm if you include the black ring with writing on it). The Hour Digits are 9mm tall. The Seconds Digits are 5mm tall. The Day/Date Digits are 3mm tall.

How do you change the year? Haven't seen any info on owners manual, only the day number & month. Others have the same issue?

Keep pressing the left bottom button when changing the time and date then the year comes up to change the same way

Can you see the time in bright sunlight? And what's the color of the watch?

At the right angle I have no problem reading the display in sunlight. It's part of the "tactical" look of the watch not to have very bright display. This one is dark gray resin. They make an all black watch and a tan watch, which I own also, with more visible positive displays. I really like using the display light for dark environments, helps protect night vision and doesn't light up your face and give away your position, again, tactical features.
