The magnets in this listing are VERY strong. Exactly what I wanted so that my firearm doesn't become dislodged while driving over rough terrain or forbid, in an accident. The cleaning tools in this kit will also come in very handy. Composite picks to clean the crud out of nooks and crannies without marring a gun finish. And the packaging... kudos on the packaging. I've bought items many times more expensive that didn't come in packaging as nice. A custom box with dense foam padding that keeps everything in its respective place. Pretty fancy for gun magnet and cleaning tool packaging. Nice touch.

I purchased one approximately 2 years ago. It works great, does not SCAR or Mar to finish. But I do have a small problem. I have three or four handguns that apparently they finish is stopping them from connecting. I would like to buy more of the product, but it has to hold my pistols. It works just fine on some of them. I would recommend anyone making a purchase to test their pistol with a magnet first. Thanks

Good strong magnet. Included screws were junk but a couple 1" drywall screws made short work of mounting

The magnet was easy to install and holds the weapon securely. Their is no way the weapon is coming off accidently due to being bumped. The rubber coating is good and will not scratch your weapon and the added cleaning tools are a bonus. Recommend this to anyone looking to secure a firearm in a vehicle or other location.

I ordered the magnetic gun mount on Friday eve and received before noon Sunday. I've been a law enforcement officer for over 25 years. With the country getting crazier, more violent, and more home invasions, I decided to place a few guns around and wanted them out of sight but wanted easy access to them. After much thought, decided where to place the mounts so that not only were they easily accessible, but also easy to grab and go. The first, my Glock mod. 27, 40 Cal, I mounted by attaching it by the top of the slide, fully loaded by the way. The next one I mounted, was my Glock mod. 45, 9mm. This is when I really got impressed with this product. Not only is the gun totally loaded with 18 rounds, it also has a Tru Glo, flashlight / laser combo attached. That gun isn't going anywhere until I want it to. Great magnetic mounts! Will probably purchase another pack for my tactical shotgun.

Magnet is strong but rubber rots away, leaving bare metal.

Two of these magnets hold a Winchester 1300 defender shotgun fully loaded with sling in an upright position. It’s still take some force to pull the shotgun free.I have now ordered a second set and may make more purchases for Christmas gifts.Throw away the screws that come with it and use your own. This is the only downfall I see.
