Bring a set of slip joint/angle-nosed pliers. You must hold one part as you turn another.
This wrench makes short work of pulling out (or replacing) the drain from a sink kitchen. It fit perfectly on removal. You’ll need a second pliers or adjustable wrench.(don’t herniate yourself with pipe wrench). Easy design for hand good grip. I will use it in two more apartments and my kids houses. !!! Only surprise: I bought a disposal from waste king. I buy waste king because (with my 6 apartments) once you put in the WasteKingdrain collar, IF the motor were to burn out I could simply screw in a new motor to the waste king drain “collar” installed. I BRING THIS UP because the wasteking sink drain DID NOT FIT THIS WRENCH??? Even with my arthritic thumbs I could tighten it enough. But it DID: PERFECTLY! fit the regular kitchen sink drain…I would STILL deem it universal!

Great tool
It's a good quality sink basket wrench. Gives you a good sturdy grip and it's super easy to use. You can get a good stable hold on the basket nut enabling you to tighten it down and seal on the top with putty.

Great value
Excellent tool. I only discovered the other day that this thing is more than a pipe wrench; I could actually remove my water filter with it! I was at a loss as to what to do after my cheap, old plastic filter became brittle and got damaged.

Wrench worked fairly well. Tough in tight areas though. Definitely helps do the job right.

Tightens Deez Nuts
Well its a sink strainer nut tool... and def does just that. Was much better than trying to use oversized channel locks while squeezed beneath the sink. Def recommend... worth the 10 bucks.
