You would not believe how hard it is to find a batman plane with a batman figure! I bought one before and my toddler lost her mind because it didn't come with a figure and none of her little toys fit. I researched and researched after that debacle looking for something that wasn't a lot of money and had an actual batman that fit in the plane. You can find the batmobile all day long... but not the plane. With that being said ... This is a well made sturdy craft... I wouldn't necessarily consider it a toy. It even has landing gear that you can pop out or in. It is an absolutely beautiful model. Batman does have a small hitch. You have to slide him in with the tiniest bit of patience because he goes deep into the plane at an angle. I will be happily do that all day though as my 4 year old is completely obsessed. I am so glad I found this plane. It was worth every penny to me.

I have been checking out this Bat Wing for a long time and my heart sank when Amazon showed that it was sold out. Fast forward three months later and I found it again. I quickly snatched it up. I wish I had gotten it sooner because this is one toy that really resembles Tim Burton's Bat Wing. It was easy to put together and I hung it from my ceiling. It is a thing of beauty as it floats over my desk area. The action figure is small, looks like Michael Keaton, it fits in the cockpit and it looks fierce. And for the price, well, it doesn't break the bank, unless its being robbed. This saves me time from building a model kit of it, because the older I get the more lazy I become. The paint detail is amazing. It's a good size and if you are a fan of the art of the Bat Wing, you won't be disappointed. All camera angles love this plane.

I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was. But it is detailed with landing gear. The wings feel kinda cheap but I'm still pleased to add it to my Batman collection.

I jumped on this and preordered as soon as I was able to, and while it did take some additional time to arrive after its initial drop/street date AND the fact that both the box and figure were previously opened and re-taped (I’m typically an in box collector) all of that was irrelevant the instance I re-opened the box and verified the contents inside! The sheer amount of detail Spin Master was able to put into a vehicle intended for 4 inch action figures AND at this price point absolutely blew me away! It’s almost a perfect representation of the Batwing as it appeared in 1989’s Batman motion picture. I could definitely see some customizers add miniature lights and some paint detail work to make this thing pop even more. Sadly it seems this limited edition release is long sold out and going for a premium on the second hand market, which is a shame since Spin Master could make a killing by selling the vehicle alone. Here’s hoping they reissue this as a standalone in the future for those that missed out and aren’t forced to pay exorbitant prices from flippers. Regarding the Amazon side of things, I truly wish companies would stop making these cool items exclusive to Amazon (and to a larger part any other one retailer), as the last Batman-related item I bought was exclusive to Amazon and limited, and arrived with an absolutely destroyed shipping & product boxes, while this one arrived previously opened. Not much you can do when it’s sold out, so you just have to live with an item that arrived in less than expected condition. Still, in the end, I rate the product itself 5 stars, while I rate Amazon shipping me a previously opened and re-taped box/figure, also arriving late 2 stars. Overall rating 4 of 5 stars.
