NASB Large Print Compact Reference Bible, Burnt Sienna Leathertouch

I LOVE this Bible!! I’ll be straight with you and tell you that I own a lot of Bibles: many translations and many different types of Bibles. When it comes to really studying the Word, I favor the NAS (‘95 or the 2020). Let’s talk compact Bibles. This is a chunky compact (yay!). It’s the thickness of your average Bible (not a study Bible, of course). It is a large print *for a compact Bible*. Most compacts you see, at the highest have a 6pt. type, but can be as low as a 4, and unfortunately the type is poorly done. For example see NIV’s Journal the Word New Testament Compact. It was a good idea, but the 6pt. type is not only tiny, but the typeface they used is terrible. I can see quite well and I can’t read it comfortably. It was donated. 2K Denmark did very well with the typeface here. It’s an 8pt. that is done so clear, so well that the font appears a bit bigger. 2K Denmark always shows up ready to shine and they did a fantastic job here. Now, here’s the irony. I can’t read an 8pt. comfortably in a regular size Bible, but for some reason I can in this compact. Why? I have no idea. Also, I bought this with “on the go” in mind. Wrong. This has become one of my most used Bibles. I keep it on my nightstand…or nearby when I’m in the house. If I need to look something up, which happens a lot, there it is; but I find myself reading from it a lot. It feels very good to the touch (feels very close to real leather compared to the many other leathersoft Bibles I own). It feels very good in your hands. I love that it’s red letter. It’s a good color red: deeper red, not a pink-red. It has some extra “goodies” that most compacts don’t have: Obviously it’s a reference Bible, it has a topical index that is quite thorough and it has 8 maps that are very nicely done. The guilding was done well. Usually, depending on how deep or rich the gold is (the more deep/rich typically the worse) and the way it’s done affects how much scratching you’ll see/notice. I’ve had this Bible since Feb of ‘24 and the guilding looks great. You can’t see any scratches, though I’m sure they are there! This is the best compact Bible I’ve ever come across. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a compact Bible. It may just become your favorite Bible! It’s in my top two. If you’re hesitating-don’t. Add to cart. Order. This bible is only the Old Testament. That wasn't explained in the order. I am very disappointed

Compact size, large font relative to its size, NASB version, red font, topical index, maps, reasonable pricing, fast delivery. Go for it 👍🫶

Perfect. Just what I wanted small and easy to read

Good size font, easy to read and fantastic quality material for the cover. The size is perfect for travel, whether in a handbag or a suitcase. However the pages are very thin and need separating. Also there is no built in elastic to keep the covers together to I have to keep the outer cardboard which I would usually discard
