These hoses are a smaller diameter than what you find in the home improvement stores. Their construction is far superior, meaning they are much sturdier. The little connector was critical, I needed to make one long hose. Its smaller diameter and sturdiness meant I was able to bend it into a sharp U-turn and run the drainage along the side of the house. I ran a shallow circular saw cut along one side while the hoses were fully retracted, to invite water seepage along the way (Be VERY careful if you do this!) but find that once expanded the saw holes tended to curve somewhat and provide limited seepage there, which is okay after all because it is still a much better drain hose that I had.

Bought it to extend and reposition my sump pumps drain. This it working fine for that and is very easy to install. It comes compacted to you have to extend it. Depending on the length you want, you can leave some part compacted. It looks durable so time will tell. It is flexible so you can turn it anyway you want. The material is also thick so it should last long. It is a good value for money.

I’ve had to buy several types for different houses. This arrived promptly, as described. It was approx 39 degrees out, but thin walled enough to extend in the cold. I’m older, so was ok for me. Easy to manuever, ok for the price. It hooked up perfectly to an older 2x3” gutter on friends mobile home, easily extended to street. Others available, I would have had to purchase an extender. This thinner material, has dented, no idea if stepped on. I figure I can push extra length back in, to take dents out. Taking 1 star off for material thickness. If looking for quick fix, not long term, this will suffice!

Perfect extension to complete downspout drain. Connection was a bit hard getting threads started. Once it started it took a couple minutes. Overall it's very flexible and durable. I buried it and feel confident it will hold up over time.

An ok product when new. It is affected by the sun and dries out over time making any further handling not feasible after the initial installation.

I bought this to guide water away from a downspout and into a barrel. It has two attachment adapter pieces and one fits sung on the end of our roof's downspout. The hose in very adaptable and I'll use it to fill up a rain barrel which is away from the house (I learned the hard way to keep it away from wood siding = dry rot!). In addition, I can also extend it further when the rain fills up the barrel. Overall, great purchase, but I do worry that white may not be the best choice after doing a lot of time around water, dirt, and the sun.
