One For All URC1110 Apple TV Replacement Remote

The setup process was extremely simple—no complicated programming, no confusing instructions, and no apps required. I just inserted the batteries and it worked almost immediately. The button layout is well thought out and much more intuitive than the original Apple TV remote. Having physical buttons makes navigation easier and more precise, especially when scrolling through menus or adjusting volume. The buttons are clearly labeled, responsive, and provide good tactile feedback, so you always know when a command has been registered. The remote itself feels solid and comfortable in the hand. I've only had the remote for a couple of days, but so far so good. It paired with my AppleTv 4K instantly; as soon as I placed it close to the box. Nothing more needed to be done. One of the reasons to consider it is if you're not a fan of the AppleTV remote's 'swiping' feature; which I am not. I admire the concept behind that, but, like many, I find myself swiping when I didn't intend to and getting unwanted results. It's also worth mentioning that the replacement remote offers more buttons than the AppleTV remote. I'm not saying it has additional capabilities. I'm just saying that your choices are laid out explicitly right in front of you. That makes for a remote that's a bit larger than the AppleTV remote, but I feel it's worth it. The URC1110 remote does seem to backlight its buttons, which is nice. However, to be honest I have yet to figure out the exact circumstances where that is triggered. It just seems to happen once in a while. One important thing to know: My findings so far is that you won't be able to use both the URC1110 *and* the remote that comes with the AppleTV unit. It's one or the other. If you pair one, the other becomes un-paired. So if your goal is to be able to have multiple remotes control the same AppleTV unit, my findings so far is that's not possible. NEGATIVE UPDATE: I have needed to move this review from 4 stars to 1 star! Sounds drastic, right? Here's why: The remote worked fine for weeks; including the voice control feature. It worked on every app I have, including Spectrum. When it was fully working, I changed channels using the URC1110's voice control with no problem. Then, about a week ago, that stopped. I press the voice control button, the voice-control icon appears on the TV, but when I speak a channel into the remote, NOTHING HAPPENS. I've taken all the suggested steps to fix this. I tried replacing the batteries. I tried re-pairing the device to my AppleTV. Nothing works. The problem persists. Although there are other things I can still do through voice control (like navigate to Netflix for example) I've lost control of this other very important aspect. If that's not enough, my biggest frustration is this: "One For All" seems to offer ***NO SUPPORT OTHER THAN LINKS TO THEIR PRODUCT MANUALS!!!*** In other words, there is no support email address nor is there a support chat capability (at least none I can find). The manual is NOT helping me deal with my issue, and I'm therefore stuck with nowhere to go. That is completely unacceptable. If I had known about their lack of support I would have never bought the product.

Bought it as a replacement of my AppleTV 4K remote which started having issues after a couple years, mainly because it uses Bluetooth. Being slightly larger actually makes it easy to hold, and having a clicking wheel instead of a touchpad also improves the user experience. Totally worth it considering the original Apple TV controller is almost double the price.

My original Apple TV remote broke and I didn't want to pay Apple the $60 they ask for theirs so I bought a cheap remote on Amazon, and it sucked. Then I found this one. A little more money than I wanted to pay for this type of thing... but still half the price of the Apple one. I was skeptical it would work with Siri on my Apple TV 4K, but it works perfectly. The only thing I miss about the original is the touch pad that let me "swipe" through the video so I can quickly get to a section of the video I am watching. I didn't realize how much I used that feature. With this remote, you just have to do it the old fashioned way by pressing and holding the fast forward button, or if you know where you're trying to go, you can tell Siri to go to that place in time. One UPGRADE I wasn't expecting was the light up buttons. A huge upgrade in my opinion! When you touch the remote the buttons light up. I love that. Overall, I recommend this remote if you're looking to replace the Apple one and save some money.

This remote is fine for what it is: a less-expensive replacement for the OEM Apple version that is larger for people that prefer that. It pairs easily via Bluetooth and functions as advertised. The lighted buttons are a nice touch. I also appreciate the replaceable batteries. Where this remote falls down for me is the button layout. Ideally, the layout should be such that, when holding the remote, the most frequently used buttons should fall within easy reach of your thumb. For me, anyway, those are the navigation pad and the volume rocker. When using this remote I have to adjust my grip to reach the volume buttons and, thus, it’s hard to operate quickly and naturally by feel. The quality feels … fine. It’s very lightweight and the plastic feels, well, about right for the price. So long as you don’t expect a remote with the quality of Apple’s at this low price, I suspect you’ll be satisfied. You are getting what you pay for here and, for most people I suspect it will be a good value. I’m just picky about ergonomics and they are just average.

I think this is probably the best Apple TV alternate remote. Mine was getting old and the trackpad was not reliable so I got his one. I love that it has a power and mute button which my old Apple TV remote did not. With the eARC to my soundbar and setting the right settings in my TCL TV, it’s the only remote I need now! I tried one of the cheaper Chinese brands and it did not work as well and lacked the Siri voice control. This is definitely worth the few extra bucks and I like the buttons better than the Apple TV remote.

Received the item looks like it was returned, put in brand new batteries, which I tested on another remote and wouldn’t even work. Returned it and ordered the same product yet it cost a few dollars more.

Comprato per mia madre che ha 2 condizionatori Idema, marca semi sconosciuta. Funziona perfettamente!, ha funzione caldo, freddo, ventilazione, deumidificaz, 3 velocità, controllo temperatura, timer, etc...insomma tutto quello che normalmente hanno i telecomandi x cdz. Visto che il primo telecomando funzionava bene, ho comprato il secondo x il secondo split e anche questo tutto ok!!!.

Diese Fernbedienung lässt sich so einfach bedienen, ich bin jedes mal begeistert. Ich hab nur die Batterien rein und schon ging alles ohne irgendwas einzustellen. Was mir auch sehr gut gefällt ist die Größe. Meine Original Fernbedienung von Mitsubishi war ein riesen Teil und kompliziert zum Bedienen. Ich habe mir gleich nach Erhalt eine zweite Fernbedienung gekauft für meine andere Klimaanlage. Toll beleuchtetes Display wenn es dunkel ist, das man natürlich separat einstellen kann. Nach Gebrauch geht das Licht von alleine wieder aus. Was mir außer der einfachen Bedienung gefällt ist der Timer und die verschiedenen Einstellungen. Da kann ich in Ruhe einschlafen, da ich weiß, das Klima Gerät läuft nicht die ganze Nacht durch. Für die sehr hochwertige Qualität echt ein super günstiger Preis. Für Leute die nichts kompliziertes möchten, empfehle ich die Fernbedienung.
