Good quality for money
The headphones are sturdy, fit well, and have good sound. The microphone is very good, unlike models on the market that cost half as much. I appreciate the ability to turn the microphone on and off by changing its orientation.

The best in class
Perfect headphones for both gaming and music listening. So far these are the best headphones I've ever had. Everything, quality, sound, mic!, comfort and so on and so on, like everything is perfect. There's wifi, bluetooth, C cable, the app. And the mic is sick good. Have been using them for 6 months or so and no scratch or any sign of material peeling etc. If you're looking for a great headphones then you'll be happy with this definitely.

annoying software but good overall
its comfy but I hate the software so much, like the centre piece of the entire software is this murals crap and the device settings are shoved off to the side.

Terrible, broke in less than 3 weeks
Absolutely terrible build quality for the price. I've seen better build quality in £60 headsets. The headset broke where the ear cups join the band in less than 3 weeks of ownership. The audio seemed okay, a little on the quiet side compared to my Logitech G933. I had good feedback about the microphone when playing on PS5 with mates. Basically it's as clear as a whistle. Just be aware that you need to have a head the size of a peanut for this to fit comfortably as there is no give, the headset offers a suspension set up with no extending head band. So it either fits or it doesn't. It's marketed for adults but I'm almost certain it's sized for kids. I returned this for a refund and got a SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7p instead. (If you go down that route and want the application to change the EQ, get the Gen2 as Gen1 isn't compatible)

Regret buying them, happy to keep around for niche use
Sound quality wise these are great with plenty of options in the mildly annoying software. Dongle range is fine for anywhere in the same room so no complaints there. Connectivity and firmware updates are easy enough. Build quality is really bad as mine, like others, have had pieces break, chip and fall away after only a few weeks. In terms of weight they are quite light but wearing them for prolonged periods will cause pain on the top of my head and loosening them will only cause the headset to slip and slide all over the place needing constant readjustment. I have not been able to strike a happy compromise here so the struggle continues. Sound leakage in and out has proven to be quite bad for me - while this isn't a marketed feature, I have had headsets previously that have done a lot more with a lot less so it's worth noting. The microphone is my biggest issue and has caused endless headaches. Between post processing effects added by the software and also third party programs, it's a constant battle to either sound like theres a pillow between you and the mic, or sitting alone in an opera hall with seemingly no inbetween. It becomes a "that'll do" task rather than "I'm happy with that". Stripping back all these options is possible except settings still seem to change automatically in the background and I can sound different just by muting and unmuting. I have never had such hassle with a headset microphone to still end up sounding muddy and sub par. If you want a headset for longer multiplayer sessions and want a more plug n play experience, I would advise looking elsewhere as there is just too much annoyance to be able to recommend in good conscience. Doubly so if price is a large factor in your decision, I'm certain you could do a lot better for a similar or lower price. However, using them for movies/short singleplayer sessions is still great as I won't knock the actual sound quality and control so I will be keeping them around until their awaited dying day.

Sleek headset with good sound quality
Honestly one of my favourite purchases! I've had a few headsets over the years but these are by far the most comfortable and good sound quality ones. The cushions and headband allow you to wear this for hours on end without feeling like they are hurting your ears, and because they fit so well, they're the headset I reach out for most whilst working (to listen to music) and whilst gaming. They also look good - the sleek shape and white colour looks modern without looking too clunky. They're not the lightest headset I've had but it's nowhere near as heavy as some more popular headsets out in the market.

Very high quality sound and build quality. The icue softwares sound ID fine tunes the sound even further making them sound incredible. They are heavy but very comfortable even after long periods. The battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly, I've never had a problem with the battery. I can't comment on the mic as I've never used it but if its as good as both the build and sound then the mic will be awesome too. If thus set gets stolen then I'm buying another HS80 Max straight away. 10/10.

I have read all those reviews online, but so glad I ignored the negative ones. The sound quality is just amazing after setting up your own soundID in the iCue software. Never even once disconnected from my PC. Totally worth it! Mic quality and build quality also superb!
