FAA Chart: VFR Sectional Phoenix SPHX (Current Edition)

In the product title, I saw “current edition”. After purchase I had a moment of panic when I saw the product description had an old date. When it arrived in the mail, it was with the most recent dates. I am glad to be able to buy a current sectional so quickly for my flight next week!

I used to fly as a hobby but I am 73, a retired electronics engineer, and I don't fly any more. Instead I use a fairly elaborate flight simulator for the flight portion of the activity. But the navigation portion still requires real charts, thus the FAA VFR Sectional Chart. These can be purchased at an FBO (fixed base operator) at just about any airport that services small to medium size aircraft. It's just convenient to buy them through Amazon. Another factor to consider is that VFR Sectional Charts are "dated" material. For example, the one that I purchased, the "PHOENIX SECTIONAL", is the 102nd edition effective 10 OCT 2019 TO 23 APR 2020. Maybe Amazon keeps their stock fresher than a small FBO, but that is pure speculation on my part.

Exactly what I need for planning and tracking high-altitude balloon flights.

It’s always a good idea to have a Local Sectional Chart Map for wherever you’ll be flying.

Sent me the correct area map and in great condition but out of date. Supposedly DEC map and it's actually SEPT.--UPDATED: After filing a replacement request with Amazon I returned the original sectional map and received a current one. Great service through Amazon, and sent me the current map in new condition. Much appreciated.Will purchase again.

Had some uncommon errors by Amazon (wrong chart, then expired replacement) but Ruby and Rudy’s immediately rectified the issue and sent me 2 charts directly and told me to forget about returning the others. Outstanding customer service from Rudy and Ruby’s.

The charts delivered were out of date and expired.

It's a little pricey but it's exactly what I ordered
