Nate's Honey Minis - Single-Serve 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey – 0.49oz Packets, 20ct bag

I was looking for portion control and for something besides a jar, I don't use enough honey so the jars always crystallize. I like the taste and the convenience of the packets. Used an entire package and had no problems with the honey at all. They would be great for travel and for people who count calories, 50 per packet. I drink lemon herbal tea and add the honey to it during meals, otherwise I leave the honey out during between meal fasts. The only CON is the packaging, which it what makes it convenient. I do think the price is a bit high, but again, you pay for for convenience.

I have had several orders come in, including what my wife has also purchased if this brand. I’m type 1 Diabetic and I use this honey to bring my Blood Sugar up. 95% of the little packages are useless because the honey inside is hard and just a solid crystallized lump. So much for tearing off the top and being able to squeeze the honey out. Bag after bag has all come in this way. Now I’m going to have to find another brand. It’s too bad because I really enjoy the flavor of this honey when they used to come and you could squeeze something out!

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I think there is probably about a tablespoon of honey in each packet. The packaging is extremely sturdy so I never worry about throwing one in my purse, my backpack or my car and having it leak. This honey may not be your locally made honey from your neighborhood bees but it tastes good, maybe a little better than some of the jar honeys that I've bought at the grocery store. The convenience alone is well worth the price. I use local honey at home and this honey for when I'm on the go.

This is the perfect amount of carbohydrates to rest a low blood sugar episode for my type one daughter. The cardboard packets are really easy to carry around and don’t get crushed easily in her go bag. It’s easy to just eat half for a smaller glucose boost. And best of all, it’s easy to squirt in her mouth/cheek when she’s sleepy during the night but needs to raise her glucose levels. I like that it’s a way to avoid the chemicals, dyes, corn and processing of candy since she needs sugar regularly. My only problem is that the top doesn’t tear off cleanly. She can do it herself well enough to get most of the honey out but it’s easier and faster with scissors but I don’t have those with me on the go.

The 20-pack comes in a resealable bag now! So you don’t have to worry about getting a crushed up box in the mail. These honey packs are perfect for on-the-go or if you just don’t want to make a mess with a regular honey jar/bottle. The honey is easy to squeeze out of the packet as it comes out smoothly, and the honey taste really good. On top of that, the packet it comes in is really durable and thick, but also extremely easy to open (just tear at the perforation). Ingredients say 100% pure honey on the back of the packet.

I use these for a quick burst of energy while on the trail backpacking. They’re small, lightweight, and easy to eat while walking. I purchased these one specifically to give to my students to make their own survival kits with. If you frequent the outdoors I recommend adding these to your kit as they make an excellent source of energy and honey doesn’t go bad so what better food to add to a survival kit
