Everything about this arm just feels quality to me. I was firstly impressed by the super smooth finish of the poles. It's a little detail, but these first impressions of the build quality kind of matter to me. The rig is light weight but feels like it's suitably strong and probably won't send whatever I attach to it crashing to the ground. The ball joints that I think can get the head into just about any position imaginable are really easy to tighten and release without feeling like you're going to snap either the screws or your fingers! So far, they've stayed really rock solidly locked in place. When I realised that I not only had the option to clamp it to my desk but could also solidly clamp it around the pole of a stand I had next to the desk without it budging in the slightest, I knew I was going to love how versatile it was. Super satisfied with my purchase. I can definitely see myself buying more of their products in the future with the feeling that it's money well spent on a quality product.

I was looking for a product that I could use to record videos of my massage treatments. Over the years, I’ve used so many tripods, lights and selfie rings, and I’ve always found it quite difficult to move around my massage table and get the right angle when recording. Floor tripods were always in my way, quite flimsy, and often difficult to position at the right angle. I was looking for something very flexible, sturdy and easy to adjust when needed. This product is better suited to my needs than I expected! I use a lamp pole to attach the arm to, and it holds it very firmly. I often have my hands covered in oil while recording, but I’m still able to adjust the arm easily using the screws. The quality is excellent. I can also attach my light to it, and it holds it securely in exactly the right position. For anyone who records massage videos, I highly recommend this magic arm. It has made recording so much easier for me!

Really impressed with this magic arm. The arm is made of strong metal and seems to be very sturdy while the joints allow it to be moved in many different directions, giving me lots of control to position it exactly where I want. I especially love how well it clamps onto round poles as well as flat surfaces such as tables. I use it to attach my phone to an embroidery stand and it's perfect for that.

A very clever bit of kit allowing a multitude of positions

This is OK and does the job but I was a bit disappointed with how secure the tightening clamps were, especially near the table clamp end. Work OK with a standard iPhone Pro in a case but I wouldn't expect it to hold much more without having to make the clamps impossibly tight. I did keep it and the flexibility is great although I do wonder how the single point locking version would have compared. I have used the Manfrotto previously and this isn't a patch on that but then it's much cheaper.

Love it! Very handy! If you’re filming a dj and mounting this to his desk be aware to secure movement of the dj desk as this arm and camera will reflect any shake. I like how small it is and it’s easy to take it with you on a backpack anywhere.
