Fast, Easy, Reliable
One of the better priced tests, but still more expensive than we'd like since we go through them quickly due to frequent viral exposures. These do work well. Fairly fast results. The swab is not irritating. Young children uncomfortable with others swabbing their nostrils have successfully done it themselves with the adult completing the rest if the steps. We've been using these tests for around a year or so and haven't had one fail to absorb solution or work properly yet. Results appear to be accurate and more sensitive than tests run at the doctors' offices. They're reliable as far as we can determine. Even though they seem expensive bc we use them so much, it's often offset by avoiding the time and expense of a doctor's visit. Now, if only workplaces and schools accepted these test results as equivalent to a doctor's note we'd be set! I'd pay a slight price increase if that were possible since 99% of the time the doctors send the patients home saying rest, fluids, OTC meds and basically everything you already know; and that's if they test you and if the test is accurate. There's no point to the costly visit except to obtain a note for excusal. These tests, in my experience, have provided more accurate results and we can easily test multiple times over the period of exposure in case initial testing was too early. Some doctors don't test and say "viral infection." It's good to know which virus you're treating for best treatment as well as which symptoms to watch for that could develop from specific viruses as red flags for more urgent medical treatment by a physician.

good value to test for 3 diseases at once
I bought these tests 9 months ago and finally had a good reason to use them. My husband woke up with a mild fever and feeling lousy on Friday, but not super sick and not coughing (unlike when he got Covid for the first time two years ago). Two years ago, the first home test he took was negative even though he had very strong symptoms and it was at the ER where a PCR test showed he did have Covid. But this time when I used one of these tests on him, it was positive for Covid and negative for Flu A and Flu B. He was in denial because we were supposed to go on a weekend retreat with our congregation that day, so he took another test with a different brand that tested only for Covid--it confirmed the positive result. I'm sure glad that we didn't go to the retreat and infect a bunch of our friends! I appreciated being able to also test for Flu A and Flu B. We had a few friends come down with Flu A this past winter, so it was reassuring to know that we could test for that if we got sick or if we had been in contact with them just before they got sick. Since then I have been using up our Covid-only tests of other brands which are older to test my husband, myself, and our adult son who lives in our house. My husband has continued to test positive almost a week later, and my son and I have only tested negative even though I have had some minor symptoms. This has given me the opportunity to use and compare several other types of tests. Overall, I think I like the style of the CorDx the best. My comparisons to other brands of Covid tests: - "B-N" test: has a cover and ends up looking like a big square lollipop has the advantage that you don't have to fiddle with getting a small top over the liquid tube and the paper cover keeps the yucky part of the nasal swab enclosed. But the test kits are bigger and so less easy to travel with, and I did some research that suggested that they might be less accurate. - "Brand" of a local drugstore that had test strips that you had to put into the liquid and take them out and lay them flat to read them (like Chemistry pH strips)---which means that you can get the test liquid with gross snot mixed into it onto your counter if you are not careful. - Another brand that had a similar test block to the CorDx, but the liquid container had a tiny dropper top that was completely separate, so I accidentally dropped it onto the floor. - This CorDX test kit: the liquid vial has the top attached to the vial so it's not going to get dropped, plug the vial is flexible, so you can squeeze it to get more of the liquid off the swab. Since with this type of test, you don't get to tape a cover over the gross tip of the swab (unlike the "B-N" test, I just stuck the swab into one of the foil packages that the test pieces came in. The plastic test block is not completely enclosed like the "B-N" test, but it is less messy than the tests with the separate test strips. As noted before, the kits are nice and compact so good for travel.

Perfect product, easy to use, fast and accurate!
Accurate and definitely convenient, saves money if you have a health plan (which I do) that allows video/phone visits to speak with a provider if meds are needed.

Quick Testing for Two Flu Types and COVID - can't cover all flu-like viruses
Easy to use though you do need to be sure you get the swab well up each nostril. I already had a negative test for COVID after first symptoms. This gave me chance to resample COVID plus two other possible alternatives (Influenza A and B). All came up negative even with the passage of time. This wasn't surprising because I was vaccinated with a high dose trivalent vaccine and, from what I can tell, the vaccines are a good match to the influenza strains. On the other hand, these tests are limited to major combinations of viruses. If you want more detail than a general classification of COVID, Influenza A, or Influenza B, you need to go somewhere that will provide a more detailed test, possibly drawing blood. This allowed me to rule out these three sources of illness. It is more likely, from the symptoms I observed, that I was infected with an adenovirus (no at home tests) and it's not worth it to me to figure which of the other viruses I may have been exposed to. I have increased hand washing, isolated within our house, and used masking to minimize exposure to my illness.

Easy to use, clear instructions, seems to be accurate. Short expiration date may be a problem.
The test is easy to use, and the instructions are thorough and clear. It gave me negative results for all three viruses, and I hope it is accurate. The first box had an expiration date that is five months from when I received it. In January, 2025, I bought another box with an expiration date one year later. In July, I bought a third box and it has the same expiration date as the one I bought six months ago. In October, I bought another box that has the same January expiration date as the ones I bought a few months ago. That is only three months from now. So, the product seems to work well, but it would be very helpful to know the expiration date before buying it.
