Excellent Heavy Duty Leatherman Surge Alternative
This is very impressive alternative to the Leatherman Surge at a fraction of the price. I was skeptical that it would have the same tools and the same quality as a Leatherman, which I have several of and am a big fan of, but I'm very happy with it so far. This multitool has all of the same tools and functions and the same hefty weight that I'm used to and the tools seem to open and close smoothly and lock securely in place during use. The locking mechanisms are solidly built and there is very little wiggle or play in any of the blades or tools. The blades and scissors are very sharp and have clean edges, and there are no burrs or defects in the metal. The pliers and handles are solid and the whole thing feels well made. There is no plastic or cheap Chinese junk metal that I can see. For a (relatively) cheap knockoff, this seems like a very well made tool. At this price, I'm ordering more to keep one at home and one in each vehicle. My one complaint, which is minor, is that the holster it comes with has a plastic belt clip that seems solid enough but is flimsier than I would like. I will have this in a glove compartment or a tool bag, so it doesn't really matter to me, but if I was putting this on my belt for work every day I would probably invest in a nice leather holster or at least something with a metal belt clip. I don't love that the bit holder just sticks out of the little elastic bit pocket in the front, but it does seem to hold the bits securely and the buttoned flap sits right on top of the bit holder and helps keep them in place.

Excellent quality at any price
Unbelievable quality. Really liked the Surge but didn't like the price. Read the reviews and comparisons on line and here and for the price thought it would be worth it. Shocked at how good it really is. Will probably not get harsh use because not for work and probably Surge would be better for that but even that is not certain. Really happy I heard of this product and for fishing bicycling and odd jobs around the house should be perfect. Looking mechanisms on all tools is really good which is not always the case with other multi tools I have owned.

Pleasantly surprised
I've only had this a few days and have not used it extensively as a result. However, I have carefully looked at the functionality of each of the tools. This is an attempt to copy a Leatherman Wave+ and for the price they've done a pretty good job and added a few features which could make it more useful, though noticeably bigger. The multitool is very stiff. I don't know if this is by design or mine has over tightened screws. On mine I can't open the fixed blades with one hand like I can with the Wave+. Also, opening and closing the pliers takes some effort. This isn't a tool you can quickly start using and closing it is also hard work. Both the smooth and serrated blades are very sharp. With just the weight of the multitool resting on a sheet of paper I was able to cut it, which I was surprised by. The scissors are pretty big and sturdy and I was able to easily cut through 6 sheets of paper. The spring on the scissors is also strong, so the cutting action is smooth and quick. The can opener is also really sharp - much sharper than the one on the Leatherman, and opening a can was pretty easy. The awl is also very sharp, but in my opinion too big, unless you're working on a large piece, it will easily damage things. The slot for the hex bits is full size, which is nice, though it isn't magnetic and the bits feel a little bit lose. The bits that ship with the multitool are double ended but you can easily use standard bits. However, not being magnetic they also fall out as the hex slot isn't that precisely machined. You can also clearly see that the hex slot is made of two pieces that have been welded together, so I suspect this could be a weak point if applying too much pressure. The pliers don't close perfectly - the close tighert on the front than towards the back. The double-sided file is removable and can be replaced with either a holder for a large (size 24) surgical/scalpel blade, or a larger wood saw. The larger size of the wood saw is nice, but it cannot be left fitted as it is longer than the handle and won't fit in the slot when trying to close it. The scalpel adapter does fit when closed, but there's also no way to pull it open again. The multitool ships with a set of hex bits which fit into the front pocket of the pouch. The pouch also has a couple of side pockets where the the wood saw and scalpel are stowed. On the other side of the pouch there's a fitted pocket for the allen key that can be used to change the wire cutters, which are also included. The pouch also has a plastic loop for attaching to a belt. The pouch itself seems sturdy on the outside, but the inside side panels appear to be lined in plastic material, so I suspect over time this will start to peel. Overall the multitool is very sturdy, but the machining isn't all that precise. For example, when laying it flat on a table it wobbles a little bit because one of the handles is about 1mm higher than the other. Overall I'm pretty happy with it and for the price (I got mine for less than $50) it is well worth it. You just need to look past the imperfections.

Highly recommend
Great multitool. I bought it for the boat so it's a great size, it doesn't take up much room. The knife is real sharp and the wire cutters work great. It is stainless steel so it will be very durable on the boat.

Money well spent
I was skeptical buying a multitool from a company that isn't as well known as the big players in this space. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this tool when I got it. The fit and finish is amazing for something in this price range. Everything locks up tight and feels solid. Some reviews have suggested it might not hold up as well under very heavy use as other tools with higher grade steel, but I'm very impressed so far. Definitely worth what I paid for it, and it won't hurt as much if it gets lost or stolen.

The "T-Shank" won me over
I have been a die-hard Leatherman owner/user for many years, I've got at least half a dozen and 4 of the Wave style; however, when I saw this multitool had the "T-shank" holder I was hooked. Yes, it is much larger than the Wave and Wave+, but I really like what that 1 holder has brought to the usability/versatility of this tool. I'm new to it and don't have the history with it that I do the Leatherman variety and only time will tell if this is the 'quality' of Leatherman products. Certainly, worth giving it a try. The only downsides I see currently are size & weight... but well worth the price! I bought two!

QUALITY
WOW - For $37 which i paid in 2025, this thing DELIVERS. Comparing it to the $100 brand, the quality of this asian made knife is so high, i love it and would buy one for a friend as a gift.

Better than a Leatherman at 1/4 the price.

Quality tool based on old patents. Not exactly a pocket carry because it’s quite large. Decent quality for the price; not quite up to par with the real thing (I have a few) but for a quarter of the price it’s pretty good. I’m getting one for each of my vehicles.

Me llegó en exelentes condiciones y muy buen funcionamiento. Muy buen producto. No le pide nada a una Letherman Surge y a muy buen precio

I wasn't sure what to expect from this company but I was very impressed with the weight, the quality and the performance of this tool. I showed it to my cousin who has the Leatherman Surge (4x the price) and he was blown away how good this was for the money. It feels great in the hand, has full size, outside-deployable scissors and full size screwdriver bits. It also accepts regular jigsaw blades which means you can use all kinds of different styles. The only thing that left me a little flat was the case as it was freyed in a few spots and probably won't last. Otherwise, highly recommeded for the money.

This is not a Surge however it is a perfect Multiool for those who aren't willing to shell our $200 Canadian. For $50 Canadian Dollars give or take, you end up with an extremely decent platform to work from. What do I mean? Bibury offers decent customer service but beyond that most of their models are cross compatible with other similar different brand clones. What this ultimately means it is a highly moddable Multitool that provides significant value over most popular brands. This might not matter to most but there are some simple ways to double it's durability beyond that some choice blade steel upgrades that can be done for cheap taking it from a medium duty tool to nearly a Surge-lite. Keep in mind that what you save in cost you pay up for higher potential QC issues but mine was pretty much perfect out of box. Thank you Bibury.
