Hero Octane 26T Dude 21 Speed Cycle

First I congratulate Amazon for shipping cycle to my location. The cycle is really amazing. The packaging was good. Hero mechanic assembled the parts. Little problem was there with gear. A slight damage in paint. Tire is excellent condition. Painting was perfect Gear is smooth One thing is problem that's the seat. It is really uncomfortable. Everything was perfect. The cycle is pretty good but the front tire had a manufacturing defect(I guess),the front tire keeps deflating,I filled air in it 5 times but overnight it keeps deflating.overall the gears were kind of good as the gears on the left handle doesn't work smoothly which is kind of irritating.Overall I would give 3 stars for the inconvenience caused.

I made my mind to purchase Hero Octane 26T dude. However, after reading the reviews from Amazon, I was quiet hesitant in buying this product. Later caller the customer care to enquire about the return policy and the reviews. The person from Amazon told me not all people who purchase will write the review. I decided and got atleast 4600off compared to retailers. I was surprised to see when the package was opened, there was not even a single tiny scratch on cycle. I would highly recommend not to assemble the cycle by yourself. Reason being certain adjustments needs to be made. I would recommend this cycle to anyone and thank you Amazon for maintaining the quality.

Bike was delivered to me without tool kit, I had to purchase. However, BEWARE: It is not at all possible for normal buyers to assemble this bike on your own, there are gear settings, disc and V brake settings, those are simply not possible for any users to do it themselves. ( I cannot challenge anyone’s technical capability but remarks are for average non mechanic users) I paid another Rs. 600 for mechanic to visit and fix it. Bike is otherwise good quality. Amazon customer support was useless and did not help in my case to provide tool kit or help, which was short shipment. This is non returnable item. My advice is to buy it from a good Hero cycle dealer, near your house.

The product is good. I gave it 4 stars because of packaging and shipping. There were scratches on the body, bent spokes and the tools for assembling the cycle were missing. I have my own tools. Therefore, I was able to assemble the parts and straighten the bent spokes. Overall, the gear shift knobs are of good quality, the tyres are good, gear shift is smooth. Cons: the stand is placed in the center below the pedal axis, not a very scientifically designed stand, the cycle doesn't stand :) You need to adjust the front wheel at an angle to make the cycle stand when not in use. The seat is a little hard and gets painful after a while, you may need to buy seat cousin. Pros: the looks are solid mainly because the frame is thick and there are no mud guards , disc brakes work well, pad brakes are good too. front suspension is above average quality. For the price I paid, a little less than 10k. I think this is a cycle you will be proud to ride. Good luck and stay healthy.

Giving it 5 stars because the product I recieved was faulty and Amazon replaced it without any questions. Or else i suggest buy a bike with bigger tyre size. It's very small

Average cycle. The fasteners and tools provided are of low quality. The manual is also poor. Cycle performance is also average with a bit of squeaks and rattlings

Ive gone through with lots of review before purchasing this cycle. There was several review where people werent happy. But I still bought this cycle on the basis of its look and cost. Got the delivery in good condition. Installation equipments were missing. One can not install it by own. Expert installation required. I go to nearest local cycle store to get this installed which cost me 200 bucks. Amazon has never mentioned that they had this free installation in this. After 2 days, I received email that they have this under free installation and expert can visit to install it. Rear rim isnt function properly, brakes too. It creates sound while cluctching it. I have to spend a lot time to get it fixed. Rim age is not good, I bet it will get rust within the next few months
