This one book has developed so much interest for my kids that they now want to read all the series. This book "Cigars of Pharoah" continues into the next book in the series called "The Blue Lotus". So I guess, that would be my next buy. On a separate note, I wasn't impressed with the comic series that comes as a set of three books and different volumes. I would strongly encourage to purchase these large paperback versions as it is hard to read the text in those volumes.

Excellent book. Loved the story . Excellent quality
This was an exciting book with an charming story line . I have read 4 books of this series . One of the best ones from Hèrge 's literature

Must-read ; Good introduction to comic reading.
Having read Tintin books as a kid, I wanted to introduce the comic series to my kids. This was my first Tintin purchase for my kids. Although, I would have preferred to start with the first book, it is just a matter of time for kids to get used to the Tintin characters. The book is about Tintin's adventures when he travels to middle-east & India. Hegre's unique storytelling through this famous comic series makes you and the kids glued to his books. This one book has developed so much interest for my kids that they now want to read all the series. This book "Cigars of Pharoah" continues into the next book in the series called "The Blue Lotus". So I guess, that would be my next buy. On a separate note, I wasn't impressed with the comic series that comes as a set of three books and different volumes. I would strongly encourage to purchase these large paperback versions as it is hard to read the text in those volumes.

A good read, anytime !!!
As usual a great one for Tintin lovers. The only issue I have is that they have changed the font of the alphabets. It's not like the times when I was younger. Anyway as I bought it for my sons, they don't find too much of a difference, except that my younger one remarked that the font looks better in the Tintins I have from when I was younger, and have kept safe. For new readers, the font would not be an issue. Keep reading !!!

The story is great, where tin tin goes to India investigating and ...
read it in my school library. they won't allow me to issue it more than 3 days so I decided to buy it instead. The story is great, where tin tin goes to India investigating and solve a mystery. it's nostalgic for any person who reads it 6-7 years ago and you strangely get attached to it. and no "I am not going through an endowment effect"

I love Tin Tin!!!!!
Tin Tin, is an educational, exciting and great book and series. The story is exciting and keeps the reader wanting to know more. The theme is similar but the story changes from other books in the Tin Tin series. The kids reread this again and again. It is great for kids to keep them off of a computer and into a book. The pictures and art work is wonderful and top quality. I would recommend this book to a friend and I would buy it again.

Most wondrous episode of them all.
I know that each person will have their favorite Tintin book, but this is mine. There is just something magical and wondrous about this one. It's a real adventure. Every child should have the opportunity to experience the Tintin series. Start with this one, if you haven't gotten any yet. Your child will remember this for the rest of their life.
