Good quality, value for money
Liked the print quality, although these books have font sizes smaller to accomodate the large text corpus. As far as the book goes, its a nice book to read and become a better person.

Some great lessons we can all use for life
Lucius Annaeus Seneca was a Roman philosopher. He came from a wealthy family and received his education in Rome. Even though Seneca preached Stoicism, he craved power and held an influential position in the Roman court. He was even tutor to the future emperor of Rome, Nero during that time. He died in exile after having a falling out with Nero in the later years of his life. Letters from a Stoic were written between 63AD to 65AD. These are letters, 124 of them that were sent to Lucilius explaining to him the stoic way of life. These letters cover a variety of topics, like friendship, love, health, death and developing our inner selves. Though they were written years ago, most of his teachings hold true even today. It is like Seneca has written something timeless for all humans. He seems very ahead of his time with his views on the treatment of slaves. He believed that integrity of character is an important virtue that will take any man far. The importance of living in the present moment as much as possible, since ruminating on the past does nobody any good and worrying about the future either since it hasn’t happened yet. I highly recommend this read to anyone who loves books on philosophy and life. Parts of it might seem like a drag, but there are hidden gems of wisdom throughout this read.
