I absolutely love this 90-pod hydroponic system. I now own two of them and use them primarily for leafy greens like lettuce, watercress, water spinach, bok choy, gai lan, and an assortment of herbs. They’ve been incredibly productive. Once set up, the system runs smoothly with very little maintenance. I left for a week long vacation - filled it up with water and nutrients before I left and came back to a jungle! At times, I have trouble keeping up with harvests and have given extra veggies to friends and family. The vertical design maximizes growing space without taking over the room, and plants grow faster and healthier compared to soil. This system is perfect if you want high output and frequent harvests - great for cut and come again crops too. After seeing how well the first one performed, buying a second was an easy decision. Highly recommend for beginners or experienced alike. The system makes setup super easy and the kit comes with everything you need (except seeds).

This system is quite impressive, it is easy to assemble and use and the plants grow quickly and are not leggy or spindly! It's nice to enjoy daily salads without having to be concerned with potential contamination!

This large hydroponic growth kit has a cart with three different sections. It has pod openings for 90 plants. The two upper sections are the same size and the bottom section is larger for taller plants. I’ve had mine for about four weeks. My plants are starting to grow, especially the lettuce! This is a lot of fun, and if you’re an amateur like me, the instructions were very clear and helpful. We found it fairly easy to assemble and get going. It has four wheels and two of the wheels lock. It has a large reservoir on the bottom for water. There’s a little window and measurement chart on the bottom reservoir to see when you need to add water and know how much fertilizer to add, as well. It comes with exactly 90 of each of these: sponges, sponge brackets, clear plastic sprouting covers, and stickers to keep it dark in the tank. I wish it came with a few extra of these, but fortunately for me, I ordered some extras in advance. It also has 45 covers that are solid black - if you do not want to have a plant in those openings. The pump runs quiet and does not disturb any of our normal activities. This kit does not come with seeds. It has three different light settings - one for fruits, and two for veggies. The cart seems slightly on the delicate side, so, I would not consider this super sturdy. I also think it’s a tiny bit pricey, but, I’m hoping if I stick with it, it will pay off in groceries. So far, it’s working great and I’m enjoying and learning as I go along. I sincerely hope it works out just as well for you.

We love it, a few weeks in and the sprouts are started. Assembly was easy. Changing between light selections is a simple button push. Buttons are more like touchscreen than actual buttons. Took a few try’s to figure out. Has some noise of water moving that is easy to hear over at a normal conversation level. Did also purchase a ph and ppm meter to ensure water quality. Over all it functions as designed and advertised.

I've only been using this about a week. It's a little different from the aerogarden because water does not flow to each pod. But the sponge medium seems to stay well saturated. Ive had good sprouting success even with some older seeds. The pod holes do fit the aerogarden pods, but their tops are slightly bigger so the little domes don't fully cover them but you can of course use others. Set up was a little tricky. I did have to redo some things and was worried about breaking it in the process, but it held up well.

Easy to assemble. instruction book not very well written. I've had it running for about two weeks now. Lettuce sprouted in 3 days. Also growing arugula, basil, oregano, bok choi, kale, chives, dill, parsley, peppers and tomatoes on the bottom. Hydroponics not good for root veggies. I put in an aerator for the water and an aquarium heater to keep the water 70*. Everything is on a timer so no fuss. So far working great. The only thing I don't like: the light fixtures are horrible. If you barely touch the light, they fall, so I had to take zip ties to secure the lights.

Original Rating (3-star): Ordered 2 Growell 3-tier 90 pod setups. Easy setup. However, each kit comes with 6 grow light bars, and one of my light bars were broken out of the box. Have tried multiple troubleshooting strategies... no luck. Will have to call Growell because Amazon was unable to provide a replacement without returning the whole kit. My kit is already setup, contains fluid, nutrients, and plants. I suggest plugging in the lights and testing it before you go through all the planting portion of the process. Finding replacement light bars for my system has been a pain. Update (to 4-star): While Amazon was unhelpful with simply providing a replacement light bar, I was able to contact Growell directly via email at the provided email address on the manual provided with the kits. Support was great, as they responded quickly, and only needed my order #, and mailing address. New light bar on the way, and should be here within 5-12 days. My kit has only been up and running in less than a week, and my plants are starting to germinate (see attached picture). Update (to 5 star) New grow light arrived within the specified time and in working order. Thank you Growell.

This is wonderful! Am currently on my second round of lettuces and peppers on two of the tiers!

Had this set up and running withing the first few hours of it being delivered, I'm super pleased with it everything arrived in great condition and even showed up a day early. Instructions were easy to follow and you are provided with enough nutrients to keep the system running for a while before having to buy more. I was worried after watching some reviews online that it was going to be loud when running but i was pleasantly surprised that sound is very minimal. It is large but its design makes it fit in my kitchen nicely. highly recommend! The seller even messaged me to make sure I received the growing system in good condition and to see how everything was going to make sure I wasn't having any issues, and if any did arise over the next 2 years they will be happy to help me with any problems I may have the first time! A++ for customer service!

It was easy to set up it runs quiet and does all the work for you. I have fresh veggies all the time haven't tried fruit yet. I trim my lettuce heads make salad put in smoothies and more awaits the next day. The one small flaw was one water pipe on each side were not quite secure to prevent leaking so I secured with aquarium glue problem solved. I am completely happy with this purchase it will save alot of money on healthy food and you can't beat the freshness. Thank you Growell

LOVE. I am obsessed with this hydro garden. We are two months in and we've grown a variety of greens and herbs and we now have green beans ready to harvest! Our cucumber plant is flowering and should produce fruit soon. I wouldn't recommend tomatoes, unless maybe a dwarf variety. It's so beautiful and brings me joy every day!
