This is indispensable for day time leveling. I have a laser but on bright days even the laser detectors do not pick up a signal. This optical level works great and is easy to set up. We use it all of the time and it is perfect for the job. The cross hairs are sometimes difficult to see on really bright days and I have to hold my hand to provide shade for the lens.
