For the price this is the best wired controller I have used on Xbox and PC. The hall effect sticks are the selling point and they deliver - smooth, precise, and zero drift after weeks of regular play. The face buttons are clicky, the D-pad is accurate for platformers and fighters, and the two back buttons are easy to remap in the software. Being wired means no input lag and never thinking about battery levels mid-session. The grips are slightly smaller than the standard Xbox controller, which took about a day to get used to. If you play competitive games and do not want to pay elite-controller money, this is the move.

I love this controller. I have used them for about 3 years now and have had no issues with them. They have good ergonomics, hey do not get stick drift easily at all, and they are lighter than normal controllers. They are also way cheaper than other controllers on the market and work better.

It's been a while since my purchase, so I feel like I've thoroughly tested this enough to be able to properly review it. At first, I was kinda iffy on it. I play CoD Zombies on a regular, and the thumbsticks felt too floaty, and it threw off my aim a LOT. I kinda hated it at first, not gonna lie. But after a while of using it, adjusting my playstyle accordingly, and just getting used to the sticks, I'm in love. Not a single bit of drift. My last official Xbox brand controller developed drift within a couple months of use, so this thing is a blessing. Buttons feel nice, triggers are good. Can't speak on the backside buttons or the spot for the mic, as I use neither. The cable is fine. It's well built, sturdy and long. Might take some getting used to, but for the price and compared to official controllers, I HIGHLY recommend this.

What sets the Gamesir G7 SE apart is that it does pretty much everything well. Here is a list of features that I feel set this controller apart from other contenders: 1. It has smooth hall effect sticks and a nice D-Pad that isn’t too stiff or clicky 2. The buttons are comfortable to press and responsive 3. It comes with a color-matched, 9.8-foot braided USB cable. The cable also has an attached Velcro strip for wrapping up the cable, which is a classy, thoughtful touch. 4. The buttons on the back can be locked to prevent accidental inputs. 5. It also has swappable faceplates that you can buy separately if you can find them for sale. I bought a red face plate to put on my white G7 SE, and it looks great. 6. It works flawlessly on Series X and PC with no issues. Most importantly, it excels at its most important mission, gaming. I’m picky when it comes to controllers and I can’t find anything to criticize. This time, I purchased the orange version, which looks fantastic. I’ve tried many 3rd party controllers, and usually there are one or two things about them that irk me. In contrast, the Gamesir gets all the little details right. Happy gaming!

If you don't mind your controller being wired then this is a great choice. Hall effect sticks feel nice and accurate. The two buttons on the back and the ability to map them is great. Feels nice like your typically Xbox controller. The cord is a good size. I like blue so the blue looks great in my opinion. Although it's very light it still feels like good quality controller. Two very small gripes that I have are that there's no screen capture button like a regular Xbox controller and the two bottom parts where your palms rest feel slightly thinner/smaller than a regular and elite controller which makes it feel smaller in my hands. I prefer the thicker shape. But it's my main controller for now and I don't ever have to worry about recharging. If you don't care if your controller is wired or not than this is a great pickup.

It's a great controller, Ive had it for about a month now and it hasn't given me any problems, I've dropped it on concrete a few times while playing Madden outside, the durability is great. I don't see why alot of people have problems with it, they probably aren't using the right gamesir settings, or haven't updated the controller. I like the feel of the controller, it's not cheap feeling like I thought it would be. I believe the only downside is that it's wired, which I get Bluetooth controllers don't have the best response time or something can interfere with it. I recommend getting this controller if you don't want to spend 70-80 bucks every few months on a regular Xbox controller

The controller is very nice and comfortable. The gamesir nexus app was very easy to install and use. The controller feels so smooth when using the thumb sticks they just glide around like butter. I love the blue color and the the paddles are very nice. My only confusion is that the packaging for this controller was clearly not the same as the unboxing videos I’ve seen on YouTube. It basically came in an egg carton lol. But everything was included so who knows. One thing that worries me is that rumble motors for the left side grip and trigger are definitely different that the right side ones. The left ones are louder and vibrate normally. The right side ones are more subtle and sound/feel more like a buzz than proper rumble. I wonder if I got a repackaged return or if the different rumble motors mean this is a lemon 🍋. Edit 4/6/25 I contacted gamesir and they said the left and right motors are built that way and it’s normal. They said when they both rumble together you can’t notice the difference and I can confirm it’s true. I also remember my normal Xbox controller having different rumble motors in the left and right so I think it’s just standard practice. Updating from 4 to 5 stars. Controller still plays great so far! Really happy and exited with my purchase and best part was I got it $10 off during the spring sale.

Update 2: The replacement controller is even worst than the first & will not work AT ALL after 5 weeks!! The $20 controllers are far superior even if they start to drift after 6 months!! Update: I returned the first one & got a replacement. The replacement controller after 4 weeks is losing “connection” with the console every few minutes!! This is the second controller to fail within a month & the return window just closed. Do NOT buy this terrible waste of money!!! Original Review: We were so excited to find a controller that wouldn’t drift. This controller is lightweight & responsive, for a few weeks. My early opinion was that the Option button, the small button on the upper left, is directly above the thumbstick, making it very difficult to reach. And then, one of the games we play has fishing & the controller is supposed to vibrate when a fish is caught. There was a small vibration when the fish would bite, but none when it was caught, making it very hard to complete fishing aspects of the game. We are using this controller on an XBox Series X, plugged into the console. I downloaded the app for it & set the vibration all the way up & that worked. However, now the vibration on other games is excessive. We have had this controller for 3 weeks & today it started losing connection. It’s wired & plugs in via USB. For a wired controller, not connecting is a pretty bad product defection. I opened the app & it says the firmware is current. It just stops working randomly & the console doesn’t recognize it. I plugged it into the other USB slots & still doesn’t work. It might work for a second, then the player character goes running in 1 direction & nothing else. At least the $20 controllers are worth their cost. This was over $50 & a lot of regret! *Update: When I went to file a return for this controller, I saw some suggested things to try, like “use another cable”. None of the restart, unplug, reconnect, app stuff worked, in fact, it got worse. Also, I don’t have any C-cables that have an end that fits into the back of the controller, & I just spent $50! I’d like the lavender controller to have the lavender cable that it’s supposed to work with, not some random 3rd party cable. This controller became unusable entirely while trying to get it to work. Thank goodness I didn’t toss the controller this one replaced. The “bad” controller at least functions.

Malgré la légèreté, cette manette répond parfaitement à mes attentes système hall anti drift et très bonne réponses des touches et commandes. De plus dans le cas où la manette est Garantie 2 ans via la Garantie Légale et pour le moment au niveau SAV on ne fait pas mieux qu'Amazon en cas de souci ; avec Amazon pas de prise de tête. (en comparaison je parle d'expérience personnelle avec les magasins physiques ne voulant pas appliquer les Garanties Légales ex : Darty, Fnac qui vous renvoi trop souvent illégalement vers le fabricant alors que vous invoqué les Garanties Légales qui sont obligatoires pour les Vendeurs Professionnels et qui priment sur les garanties commerciales ou fabricants). Cette manette est infiniment plus fiable que la manette Elite série 2 Xbox à 129 ou 179 Euros, donc pour le prix selon le modèle à 59 euros en moyenne de ce produit ici noté, je recommande cet article à 200% pour sa fiabilité et sa garantie sur Amazon. I really like using this controller. The hall effect sticks are definitely nicer to use and there's no stick drift issues like with the original Xbox controllers. However the face plates are frustrating. There is a small inset ring around each directional stick, and on several faceplates now this ring has actually broken and popped off the faceplate. When it first happens it actually causes the stick to get stuck rather than recentring which is not great in the middle of a game. Having nice magnetic replacement faceplates is good but they're hard to find and basically have to be imported from China - and they're not cheap.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo; nonostante sia leggermente più economico rispetto ad altri pad, è molto comodo e leggero. Ottima riposta dei tasti in game, silenziosi anche se premuti più volte consecutivamente. L’estetica fa il suo, è molto bello anche da vedere per via dei colori vivaci. Consigliatissimo.
