Review: What I like about her recipes are that they are very do-able - I've followed Nandita's blog for ages now. What I like about her recipes are that they are very do-able, no fancy ingredients (not that there are no ideas to make a meal fancy) and very healthy. Again, the healthy recipes aren't your fad-healthy, trendy recipes. She works with all kinds of vegetarian ingredients and for a non-fussy eater, this book is gold. Her recipes are simple, helps plan healthy meals through the week and keeps you on track. Some of the twists on traditional recipes work well because they are quick and easy, and not laborious. Let's keep those for the weekend. If you want to start off on cooking, or if you cook well and want new ideas or are the experimental type that wants to further tweak Nandita's recipes - buy this book. Works for all the groups very well :) Review: A book with healthy, delicious and quick recipes. - This book is excellent, it has a whole load of healthy recipes with nutrition facts mentioned after each recipe. The ingredients used are not hard to come by, most of the recipes use readily available ingredients, and they are quick to make. I had chosen this book for my Cook Book Club in Indore for all the members and I am glad I chose this book, all the members tried a lot of recipes from this book and most of them are fool proof without any discrepancies in the recipes. Absolutely recommended.

Includes recipes with Eggs
should call out in description that there are egg based recipes even though book title says it is 'vegetarian'

Good cookbook, but itโs meals from an European kitchen
This is a well-written cookbook. The emphasis on nutrition is welcome. But it is not, as the title says, โmeals from an Indian kitchenโ. Most recipes require European ingredients that are simply not available in your neighbourhood grocery shop in an Indian city. Some ingredients can be bought online but, as we discovered, thatโs not guaranteed.

Recipes excellent; but not the print quality...
Just received my pre-ordered copy after a long and eager wait. And quite a few of the recipes I just read are really very good, and not that complicated either. Looking forward to trying out these recipes for sure. I am sorry, but I have one major grudge and thats regarding the print quality and stationery of this book- it really feels uncomfortable reading. The font/print is very hard to read, very very light and does not look easy to read on that paper at all. Maybe it is the copy I received, but thereโs no way for me to know. This is a major disappointment for me, as surely the elders and even me wonโt be comfortable grabbing this book for continued/frequent browsing.

Simple ingredients, Delicious recipes
This is such a well written book. The recipes are simple yet so delicious. I loved the tips too about how and what to stock up in the kitchen. I have already started using a few of the tips and it's working great for me. A must have if you are looking for creating different vegetarian recipes out of simple ingredients.

Recipes for healthy meals without sacrificing flavor.
In the age of food blogs and youtube food channels, there sometimes isn't enough of an incentive to purchase a cookbook. But I've been following this food-blogger for a while (her blog features the best coffee cake I've ever had) and the note about featuring recipes that aren't on her blog was enough of an incentive for me to go ahead and order the kindle version of this book. And it does not disappoint. I really liked the international twists to Indian recipes and vice-versa. The little nuggets of information at the end of every recipe that allows one to modify the recipe according to whatever's in the fridge or whatever suits the reader's dietary requirements is also very helpful. This is a must-buy if you like your meals vegetarian and healthy while at the same time managing to be familiar yet fresh.

Good recipes but print quality is questionable
I follow the blog and waited a month to get the book. The recipes are good and organized for vegan, gluten-free, and diabetic recipes. But the quality of the print is poor. The font, the paper, and the quality of print appears dull and hard to read. There are so many cookbooks that have poor content but appear glossy and easy to read. Perhaps the author get the book reprinted..
