If you're looking for a durable, lightweight, slim, protective, good looking, functional, magnetic, non-yellowing, and ergonomic case - you found it. Yes it's more expensive then the cheapest case, but for good reason. It hits every mark out there, and it's worth the extra cash. All of the pictures I posted are after almost a year of use, primarily in tropical climates, but also in wet climates and snowy climates, and after lots of traveling. No cleaning was done before these pictures. And yes I have dropped it many times on rocks, cement, and tile with no problems to my phone or the case. The only problem with this case is that it will be slippery and rubbery for the first couple months. But rest assured, I have had the case for nearing a year and it only takes a month or two for the grippiness to work it's way in, then it's perfect. I even was so curious about the slipperiness that I emailed the company about it. You can read their full technical reply at the end! In fact, Lynn who was emailing me, was extremely helpful and informative about the case and future purchases spanning over a literal dozen of emails. She even offered me access to their VIP program, a free cases, and a discount code. With how Lynn has treated me, I have no doubt that if I was to have any problems with the case, she would promptly take care of it for me. So stop looking at other cases, and grab this one. It's everything you're looking for, bundled up in one, great, case. Here is the technical reply from Torras (Lynn) about the cases slipperiness early on: "About grip: In order for customers to maintain a comfortable feel and prevent stains during long-term use, we have added a feel paint and anti-fouling coating to the surface of the protective shell. It may feel very slippery when used for the first time, but many customers tell us that after a period of use, through the friction of the hand and the surface of the protective shell, it will have a particularly suitable feel. About the silicone design: We used Nappa leather texture design, which is a specific leather surface texture that maintains the direction of natural skin, making the touch more delicate and smooth, as if the texture of real skin. At the same time, our edge selection is TPE material, which is a non-Newtonian fluid mechanics material, widely used in ski protection products, used in mobile phone housing is rare, not only to improve the protection level, but also to increase the holding force! This key is integrated with the housing design, so as to ensure that the key will not fall off. This won't have too many gaps after you install the phone."

Edit 2: Just under a year later, and this thing is still working perfectly with no issues. I also got used to it, and while I still can't use wireless charging in my car with the case on, I can use it for tap to pay just fine after figuring out the placement. So while the other issues are still present, this is absolutely worth the price. Edit: So they did offer me a full refund on the case due to the issues I had with it, which is nice, but not the reason I'm increasing my review from 3* to 5*. They actually specifically said in the message to *not* increase the rating based on the refund. The reason I'm increasing my rating is that they were actually interested in my feedback and not only gave their rationale for the specific issues I brought up after asking their R&D team about it, but also were appreciative of the feedback and stated they'd work on the issues in future production. That sort of humble dedication to improve is quite rare to see these days, and I'm hoping that with the refund given I'll be able to buy a future model that resolves the issues in this one. Also, the stand is still fine for now, hasn't broken yet. For the price of this case, I think it has too many problems. The case itself looks nice and feels tough enough, though I luckily haven't had to test it against a drop just yet. I do see that people have been commenting about it being too slippery, but I actually disagree with that complain completely. The material on the *back* is slippery, but the material on the *sides, top and bottom* is using a slightly textured, grippy material. The sides, top, and bottom are the main points of contact for holding a phone...I hope people aren't trying to hold it by placing their fingers on the flat back of it. I think the back being smooth is actually a positive, and the grippy material does slightly wrap around to the back all along the outer perimeter of it, giving a bit of grip on flat surfaces too. The issues I've run into, however, are that the camera does not actually fit snugly in the camera cutout. The cutout is too large for the camera, and also positioned slightly too high, leaving a visible gap all the way around the entire camera where dust, debris, and/or spills could easily get inside the case and just be stuck in there. The gap is also larger at the top, above the camera cutout, so it's not even even across the whole thing. The magsafe component appears to block the use of NFC entirely, as the NFC works fine on my phone without the case, but won't work at all once the case is on it. This means I can't quickly transfer contacts or small files, and also can't use tap to pay with my phone, which is a major downside. That smooth back material also smudges with fingerprints quite badly. Finally, the magnetic ring is also quite hard to open with just one hand on the device when you don't really have long fingernails. One of the main uses of a pop-socket, which this is emulating, is being able to grab it with one hand and have a good grip, so that's a bit failure in design as well. I do like the ring otherwise, particularly as a stand. However, the ring is already starting to feel quite tight in its ability to turn and move, so I'm worried that it's going to fail sooner than later. For the time being I'm still going to use the cover as it's what I have, and overall it's a fine cover. That said, if the ring does end up failing on it, I'll be changing to a 1 star review and returning it.

Good case. Feels solid, and protects well. Fits the 10 Pro XL perfectly. The replacement buttons were an interesting addition and add a nice little color pop, but they feel a little loose(r) than how the buttons felt before I put the green/yellow ones in. Small thing overall. Last, the magnetic ring stand seems good so far. The spin mechanism seems well built and like it will withstand rounds and rounds. The stand itself isn't super solid, but if it was I'd be concerned about bulk and added weight. It does the job and is magnetic enough to magnetize the case so I can attach it to my magnetic car holder, and I didn't have to add an extra magnet; which is nice considering the Pixel series isn't independently magnetized. Overall, good case comparatively and for the price

The case is slightly opaque. Enough so that you can just make out the google logo on the back. The mag ring/phone stand holds up really well. It clicks into place nicely. However the material the ring is made from is some what flimsy. I feel I could bend it very easily. It also feels like the joint where the ring is attached could also be broken easily. Be careful with the phone stand. Other than that, it fits perfectly, has a grippy texture, and a thick outer wall protecting the edges really well.
