MOISO Knife Sharpening Stone

This is one of those products where you wonder why you’ve done without one all your life. The cheaper ‘draw your knife through a V-shaped metal groove sharpener is firmly consigned to my bin now.I finally treated myself to some very good Zelite knives and thought it was time to learn how to keep them razor sharp.This whetstone seemed to get good reviews, and the 3000/8000 grit stone seemed to be a good balance. It turned out that my educated guess was pretty much perfect in practice.The recommended 15 minutes on the 3000 grit side, followed by 5 minites on the 8000 grit side would be fine for a knife that hasn’t been sharpened for years. I’m finding that once every 3 months or so, spending about 2-3 minutes on the 3000 grit side and about the same on the 8000 side is plenty.All you need to ensure is that you maintain as accurate an angle as possible along the length of the blade, and keep a firm grip. Soaking the stone is a must because it definitely helps.All of my knives are now seriously, seriously sharp, and I’m never going back to another method.

Great！After soaking water, you can grind with ease. And after grinding, the blade is very sharp. It do well in repairing the blade so that it barely takes efforts to cut things. I like it very much!

This sharpen stone is very easy to used, I’m sharpened all my kitchen knives, it allow me to cut the Tomato and potatoes slices very thin, sharpen stone help me a lot.

Stone arrived on time. Found a good video on YouTube showing how to sharpen knives using a Whetstone and the result was amazing. My knives are now back to their original condition and it did not take very long.It is best to let the stone soak in water for several hours before use.

Used this type of stone for the first time - should have used this method of sharpening years ago. Knives and chisels are fantastic and extremely sharp, better than when bought brand new.
