Spigen Tough Armor Designed for Pixel 9 Pro XL Case (2024) [Military-Grade Protection] [Kickstand] - Black

Spigen does it again, I always seem to buy their cases and with good reason, Spigen makes good cases for a reasonable cost. I got the green in this one and it's a nice dark green, not bright and it fits in the hand well. All the buttons are obviously accessible and easy to press and it comes with a nice built in kick stand for when you want to put the phone on it's side. I never thought I'd be crazy over a kick stand, but it makes a world of difference in watching things on my phone. Thoughtfully designed, well made, decently priced. Everything you could want in a phone case to protect that crazy expensive phone.

The Spigen Tough Armor case for the Pixel 9Pro XL is great. It fits the phone well. The button pressor provisions have a good positive feel with no sloppiness. It's not a super-grippy feel, but it is grippy enough so you shouldn't drop it with your bare hands. Gloves, I don't know. Kickstand works well, too, first time I have had a case with one. The camera module protector has an extra lip around it so the lens glass won't scrape on a table or other flat surface. I chose the dark gray color for the case. It's a satin finish and is very handsome. Seems to be well built and should be durable. Overall, I am very pleased with this case.

I tried 7 different brands, all with good reviews only because reviewers had used the brand on a previous or all their previous phones. I returned six and kept this one because, hands down, it performed the best in all the areas I was concerned about. My biggest issue is drop protection without being a cumbersome case/vault. It is simply stellar with its military spec and multi layered materials for both shock and absorption. Second, it has a raised lip around the entire outside edge of the case that does not sit too high or even too low with my screen protector in place. Third is a two-fer. The camera bulge becomes flush with the case on the backside and has a lip that, like the front lip, means that when laying your phone face down or cameral side down, the glass is not subject to being scratched. The control buttons are large, easy to press and intuitive, plus the bevel shaped edge of the case makes it feel thinner than it is and provides for an easy firm grip because your fingers make contact with two to three different plains while you are holding the phone, instead of a flat edge or rounded edge which does not provide the same control. I use the kickstand, but as noted by others it does not allow for use in the vertical phone position. Lastly, the feel of the phone in your hand using this case is like holding a German made camera from the 1960's, it just 'feels' so well made compared to the materials others are using. I am a designer and fabricator and hold this case out as an example of superior industrial design. Buy it, you'll love it.

It's Spigen. They do a fantastic job. I ordered this and it came quickly. The fit for my phone is quite secure. I like that it's a 2 part shell. No issue with the screen protector. Pros: -Solid drop protection. Lots of air cushioning inside. (See photos) -Fairly 'grippy' texture. MUCH better than the Google branded case that I got with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. -works with screen protector installed Cons: -The kickstand isn't as functional as I'd hoped. While most will enjoy it just fine in landscape mode, 3 times a week, I could use it in portrait mode for a Google Meet call. I cannot though as it will not hold the phone up. -Kickstand "feels" cheap compared to the case overall. I think Spigen just went with whatever was cheapest. I fear it'll eventually snap off.

Fit my Pixel 9 Pro XL perfectly. No problems putting it on and it makes the phone way less slippery. The little kick stand is nice too. Appears well made, not flimsy feeling. Great finish on the case, no stray seams or edges. Easy on, easy off. Couldn't ask for anything better. I'm not going to drop my new phone on purpose just to test the impact resistance, but I've had this brand on my old phone and have dropped it several times and never damaged the phone. Got great trade in value for the my old phone too (3 yo) due to the quality of the case, so not bad.

Solid case, has become one of my favorite lines over the years. It's the perfect amount of protection with bumpers around the front and camera while still being incredibly slim. As someone who was not a fan of cases due to their bulkiness(or being so thin they were worthless), the tough armor line has completely changed that with feeling so slim yet adds a substantial amount of protection from drops and rough surfaces. Helps that the case looks cool and is very classy. It is worth noting that the Pixel 9 cases are the first from the last 4 tough armors I've had that are actually quite slippery to the touch, all the previous ones felt a bit better in the hand as they added a good grip. Overall though, super good case that's a perfect balance between functionality, looks, and protection - just wish it was a tiny bit more grippy. This one

This phone case isn't excessively expensive like some other options, which I really appreciated. Of the kickstand and the slim fit of the case on the phone. It is not slick in your hands and you can get a good grip on it very easily. I've been using this case and the kickstand for almost 9 months now with zero issues. My wife liked the versatility of the case so much that she made me order one for her too to replace her case.

I've used UAG cases for about 12 or more years, but they have just become absolutely and ridiculously overpriced over the years, so I began looking for a brand that isn't charging $60-$80+ for a few ounces of polymer protection. Upon looking around I found this Spigen case and decided to try it. I've had it installed since November 2024 and it has been great. It has all the same features the UAGs have (rubbery polymer body, foam cushioned inside around the phone, raised lip around the entire screen and camera, and it even has a landscape view kickstand which the UAG never had). I've dropped this phone many many times now as usual and my phone has remained protected and intact. The case still looks fine too. Lastly, the price is right. Anything over $25 is a joke and I'll never pay that much again.

The Spigen Tough Armor case for my Pixel 9 Pro XL has been an absolute lifesaver! I'm pretty clumsy and have a habit of dropping my phone, so I needed a case that could really take a beating. This one definitely delivers. First off, it feels incredibly sturdy. The dual-layer design with a flexible TPU inner sleeve and a hard polycarbonate outer shell provides serious protection without adding too much bulk. The raised edges around the screen and camera offer extra peace of mind, and the Air Cushion Technology in the corners really seems to absorb shocks. I've dropped my phone a couple of times already (oops!) and this case has prevented any damage. But it's not just about protection. The Tough Armor also has some really handy features. The built-in kickstand is perfect for watching videos or video calls, and it feels surprisingly sturdy. I also appreciate the tactile buttons, which are easy to press even through the case. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the case can be a bit tricky to remove once it's on, but that's a small price to pay for the level of protection it offers. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this case. It's stylish, functional, and most importantly, it keeps my precious Pixel safe and sound. Highly recommended for anyone who wants ultimate protection for their phone!
