Got these to auto water plants while travelling. The two pack is nice for plants in different areas or if you want two spikes per plant & have lots of plants. The tubing is easy to cut & push onto the spikes, making setup quite simple. There was plenty of tubing which was nice. The spikes aren't really drip heads but rather just a way to funnel the water from the tube as droplets into the soil. So there's no adjusting of the amount of water at the spike. The controller is simple enough to operate & setup timing to your specific needs (manual, auto, timed ranges). The water intake has a filter around it to prevent debris from clogging the line. The anti-siphon is easy enough to put in-line to prevent backflow. Just add it in-line with the water output so that it would drip back into the water supply or into another catch bucket. I set up one controller to water 6 plants (3 each in two rows) with two spikes each with a main line down the middle & feeding 2 spikes to each plant. The controller easily pumped water to all plants at the same rate whether the first spike or the last spike. While I'm pretty happy with both units & how they work, there are a couple of things that would make this even better though might make the cost go up. The tubing is not the standard 1/4" drip line so finding more tubing, connectors or tees, if needed, could be an issue. It's possible that the pump might need to be stronger if 1/4" tubing were used. Also, it would have been nice to have the dripper spikes be adjustable (like a drip emitter) rather than using 2-3 per plant but again might require stronger pump. Lastly, there are no stop plugs or connectors included just Tee joiners. Adding a few stop plugs & a couple connectors wouldn't cost much and be helpful when you need to remove a plant but don't want to reconfigure everything or just need to connect two pieces of tubing. All in all, happy to have my plants auto watered easily while I'm away and would recommend.

This is a great plant saver - especially if you are inconsistent at watering your plants. I travel frequently and was struggling with my plants staying healthy or having gnats because of drying out or over watering before I'd leave. This auto watering unit has changed that and my plants are thriving! I put my fishtank water into 5 gallon buckets and drop the filter inside. Then I drilled a hole in the lid, fed the tubing through the hole and attached it to the main unit. It's been working great for at least 3 months now. One word of advice: place the bucket lower then the plants you want to water to avoid excess runoff. Excellent product all around!

Let's talk about a big feature this product has in a sea of similar devices. The repeat watering time is as low as every hour. If you have special requirements to water as often as once an hour, this is your pump. To put it to the test, I ran it hourly for 10 minutes per watering, for seven days. Not a single hiccup, the battery level only budges when pumping indicating that the solar panel is very effective at keeping the battery charged with 24 hours a day use. The pause feature pauses only the next watering and then returns to the normal cycle. This is probably best for most use cases. Using it to water once a day in the morning, I could pause it for the next day if rain was forecast. The pump lift is good, used it in a 55 gallon drum as well a 5 gallon bucket. The distribution system is simple, no adjustment per stake, but using a single/double stake system, I cover two different sized pots easily. I have a question about whether it is completely rainproof so I put a little plastic hat over it, no troubles in pouring rain. So far this is a rock solid product, I've been running it for a month with zero issues. I definitely would purchase it again.

Out of town for 3 weeks and this saved my houseplants! Easy to set up and store after use. You can easily adjust for different watering needs by adding additional drips on plants that are larger or have higher water needs.

Great for having if you go on an extended vacation. Takes some practice and experimenting to get more water to the larger plants and not overwatering the smaller ones. I bought 2 and we love them.

I normally don't leave reviews but for this product I will happily do so. Having been in the "Medicinal" plant industry for over 30 years I know the importance of maintaining consistent and regular watering. I forgot a family member had booked an Airbnb and had 15 seedlings growing. 8 decided to give this system a try and ordered 2. We would be away for 8 days and my biggest concern was the strength of the pump since I was going to use 2 five gallon buckets. Long story short, they worked perfectly. Easy to set up and easy to program. For those who experienced leaks, cut the tubing straight, not on an angle. Firmly lock all pieces together. Test the system. When I first tested the system I saw 3 small leaks at the fittings that had easily been fixed by pushing the tubing on tighter to the fittings. I will be purchasing some more!

I hate leaving bad reviews. Truly. I know a lot of work goes into creating a product, so I don’t leave this lightly. Unfortunately, I’m at my wits end with the product. I’ve purchased many of these automatic plant waterers to keep my leafy friends alive while I’m on vacation. The first set up is easy, and initially I thought this product was working well (hence why I continue to buy them). But my mistake was not verifying its reliability before buying. This product is the least reliable automatic waterer I’ve ever had. The “timing” mechanism does not work after the first run. A big fear of mine was setting up this system, only to return to dead plants because the product doesn’t trigger watering at the specified time. That’s why I always test the timing mechanism before leaving for vacation— setting the first water to trigger 1 minute after the current time and waiting/watching it work. This gave a false sense of security. It works to run this first time, but it doesn’t honor the period you set for timing (say you want the system to run every 2 or 3 days). It only runs once. This would explain why I came home to dry plants, that luckily didn’t die but were bone dry when the irrigation system was supposed to water them the day before I arrived home. I don’t know if the quality team tested reliability of this product. All I can say is this behavior is consistent with the 4 products I’ve ordered. So incredibly disappointing. And in fact, this makes it useless. I tried troubleshooting my issues through the Amazon app, but those instructions were useless. I’ll revise my review if I can get some answers on how to fix this. For now, 1 star.

Fantastic, works very well. I went on a vacation for 3 weeks and it worked worked wonderfully.

Very easy to use system compared to some others. Soft flexible transparent silicone tubing is easy to install and hide behind plants. Easy to program and recharge - still working out how long the battery will last, but at least a week seems reasonable depending on the duration of watering each day. Only tip is to make sure the blue watering sticks are well pressed into the earth, preferably close to the plant - if they are at edge of the plant, water can run over the edge.

Absolutely 5 stars. Works great, I was going online to ask the retailer if they sold more spikes as I had already bought more line. This product ended up being just the ticket for me to expand my setup. Great job!
