Rapid Hydration Drink Mix, Electrolyte Powder Packets with Zinc, Use for: Workout, Sweating, Travel & Heat Recovery, Vegan, Blood Orange Flavor (30 Pack)

Love the flavor and no fake sugars! No B12 just electrolytes!!

This is my second bag of hydrant. After first getting the multi pack with lime, blood orange, and grapefruit I decided that blood orange was my favorite. This order I just got blood orange. To me it tastes the best of the three. Grapefruit and lime are good but are more acidic tasting and I worry about drinking something acidic and then working out. It has never effected me though so it came down to taste. I have been an emergen-c drinker for years but with the pandemic I couldn’t find it anymore. I decided to give this a try along with a new workout regime. I drink one right before working out in a full glass of water. I swear I sweat less when I drink this first so hopefully it is helping me stay hydrated. I sweat enough for 5 people anyway so I worry about getting too dehydrated when I sweat. I have also noticed that my hair and nails seem to be thicker. I started hydrant the same time I started working out and so it could be either. Anyway I’m happy and will continue drinking daily.

I was looking for electrolyte options that don’t have fake sweeteners and finally found this brand. It tastes great and I can feel a difference in recovery. This product is essential for workouts in hot weather.

Got this because I missed the sale on another hydration powder I really like and needed something for hiking, biking, water boredom, hangovers, etc. Other than the bag being different from the picture, this is a decent product. There is less sugar and sodium, and fewer calories than my fave powder. The taste is okay-- I like blood orange but in anticipation of this being sweet and sugary I watered it down more than it needed to be, I guess! Even with less water the flavor isn't too strong, which is good, but if you like electrolyte drinks that are thick and sweet you're not going to like this. Also, despite what it says on the back, you don't want to put this in cold water because it doesn't dissolve properly and even if you shake your water bottle you'll still end up with floating chunks. Best bet is to mix it with room temp water and then refrigerate for a bit before consuming. There will still be floaty stuff but it's not as bad. Will probably go for this again if it goes on sale.

This product works very well. If I have a cramp, I take one packet in water and the cramp is gone in minutes. Great product!
